Poetic vintage Mushroom lamp in white Murano blown glass, medium size, made by expert hands in the heart of Murano, Italy, in the 70s. It was finely created by Murano glass blowers using the refined spiral technique. This precious piece is now a rarity, increasingly difficult to find. This striking example of Italian craftsmanship was a must at the time and still has a lot to say today. It will give an elegant and warm light to your home! Design period: 1970 – 1979. Authentic 1939 World’s Fair Pink Saturn Lamp by Houze Glass Works. There is some chipping around the bottom lip of the planet Saturn and a crack as shown in the photos. The damage was caused long ago by someone changing the bulb and not seating the top globe portion correctly. It looks and displays wonderfully even still as the crack is in the back when on display. The original lamp socket, switch, and cord are still intact and functioning. We are offering this rare lamp example at a discount due to the minor condition issues. We actually have another in pristine condition or we would not be parting with this one. We will package the lamp with extreme care and mark it as extremely fragile. Here is a hard to find genuine Magic Mushroom Lamp Company fro California. It is a larger one, measuring approx. 16.5 high to the top of the shade. It is formed to resemble Cypress or Burlwood and Coral. There is an on/off thumb switch on the cord it is works fine… Making the the shade glow beautifully. There is some areas of breakage on the base and originally had some smaller caps that are missing. The shade has a crack that is visible on the inside but not on the outside.
