Age 1950s Asian style table lamp and shade with a brass claw foot base and ceramic body. The body of the lamp is gold with white accented dots. The shade is white linen. Wired for the US and in working condition. Harp, 4″ diameter x 10″ height. Lamp without shade, 6.5″ diameter x 22″ height. Lamp as in excellent condition, aged as expected, shade frame is good, needs recovering. Height: 22 in (55.88 cm). Diameter: 9 in (22.86 cm). Wear consistent with age and use. Shade has a light small spot of dirt on one panel.

Vintage 1950s Fiberglass Metal Wood Lamp Mid Century MCM Modern Lighting Riviera
ITEM : For your consideration we are presenting for sale a super cool vintage table lamp from the atomic era. The lamp features a brass metal base with four wooden ball atomic feet. Attached to the base is a fiberglass cone that surround the light socket. On either side of the base is a ceramic insert. The undersides of each of these inserts are inscribed “Riviera, 50 USA” (see photos). The lamp has another square-shaped fiberglass shade that rests at the top. There is an on/off rotary knob switch that is located on the back side of the lamp. It’s a great lamp that certainly screams’50s! It’ll make a nice addition to any modern interior setting. MEASUREMENTS : With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 15″ tall x 16.5″ wide x 16.5 deep. The metal base measures 13.5″ wide x 7″ deep. The two ceramic inserts each measure approx. 4.75″ x 4.75″ x 2.25 deep. The wooden ball feet each measure approx. CONDITION : Overall the lamp is in good condition. There are a few minor cosmetic things which we’ll make mention of here. First off, one of the ceramic inserts has a very faint hairline crack running through it (see photos) – it isn’t very blatant at all, but it is there. Next, the fiberglass shade material looks like it may have been painted over at one point in time to freshen it up. We’re not 100% certain on that, but we wanted to mention it for accuracy. Aside from that, it’s in great shape – no chips, breaks, burn marks, etc. The electrical wiring looks to be original, and is in great condition – no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wire. The top lights seperate from the flowers. You can change the colors of the flowers. 32″ high x 19″ in diameter. The original shade is in fantastic condition with minimal wear. The electric works fine and is safe. There are very few nicks to the lights/lamps. There is a crack in the middle of the lamp, but does not affect the overall’strength’ of the lamp.
