Each glass piece is cut by hand, and the edge is polished before wrapping the copper foil. Step 2: Applying Copper Foil. The edges of the glass pieces are wrapped with adhesive copper tape. Step 3: Glass Assembly. Glass pieces with different shapes are put together according to the pattern. The edges of the glass piece need to be soldered together for a firm hold. Why does a stained glass product feel/sound like plastic even though it is glass? The glass pieces will not vibrate if cut into small pieces and welded together with tin solder, you will not hear the glass tone if you knock it with your finger. This characteristic is caused by the manufacturing process of stained glass products. Why does the stained glass product look dark? The glass color will be dark if no light passes through. Please put the glass in front of the light or under the sunlight. You will see the bright color then. We offer the best prices around on high quality products.
