Vintage 1970s Shatterline Crushed Ice Lamp In Orange with Unusual Rectanglular Textured Spun Fibreglass Shade. Very good quality example. In very good condition with no damage to lamp just light signs of age and use as to be expected after 40 years. The shade is also very good but there are some cracks to the interior but these are not visible either with the lamp switched on or off. The fibreglass is good quality and nice and thick so with a low wattage bulb fitted this should not be an issue going forward. It is in full working order and PAT tested. It measures 45cm high with shade, the shade is 11cm square and the base is 9cm across. Vintage Bradley & Hubbard B&H art nouveau table lamp unusual copper & brass
Very nice unusual early Bradley & Hubbard table lamp of art nouveau design. The dome shade is copper and has much patina. The base appears to be brass and also as nice patina. Measurements are approximate: It stands 17″ tall including the finial and cap (which are permanently fixed), the shade is 12″ in diameter, each rib holding the shade is 13″ long and the base is 8″ wide. The socket chain snaps nicely and does not hang up or feel sloppy. The lamp has no “tube” in which to run the wiring, so it is attached to one of the ribs. It will not be that noticeable turned to the wall – this is how I bought it years ago. Pair Vintage Stiffel Brass Lamp 36 Unusual Design Mid-Century Modern
If you are looking for something that is not common check out this pair. Size is 36″ to the top of the harp, 27″ to the top of the socket, 7 1/4″ wide point to point on the curls of the handles, 7 1/2″ diameter on the base. Sockets are signed Stiffel. Each has a working 3 way switch on the bottom and one has an additional on/off turn wheel switch built into the wiring. The other originally had one there too but the switch must have gone bad so they shortened the wiring to just past the switch. Both have some darkening/spotting with the worst being to the base especially around the switch area from finger oil/acid. Other sellers call this patina. Nothing chipped, cracked, broken or dented. Both have their original Stiffel finials. One is missing it’s felt bottom cap/cover and the other is pushed in some. One has about 6′ of wiring–the other about 6 1/2′. They weigh 10 3/4 lbs each before packing but will incur even more dimensional weight due to the large box needed to put them in. The items I sell Might or Might not be from a smoke free home. Most items are used and vintage and smoking occurred in almost 50% of the homes in the US at one time. Don’t ask me to smell them because I cannot. 1 3/4 hours from Washington DC. 10 minutes off of Exit 4 of Interstate 83 in Pa. You pay them–I do not. Retro Pineapple Figural Lamps Vintage Pair Table Top Lights Lighting Unusual. I’m guessing they are late 50′s to early 1960′s era, but don’t know for sure. They are unmarked with just the number “3001″ on each base. The metal used appears to be a pot metal or base metal with a finish on the exterior. Each lamp measures approx. 21 tall and is approx. 7 across the legs of base. The frosted looking finish is an applied finish and shows wear through to the glass underneath. The glass is actually clear and if rubbed to hard the finish does come off. They light up, but the cords are old and the plugs show bending to prongs. So, we would say these should be rewired before use. DOES NOT COME WITH shades or shade brackets, they come exactly as pictured. The tops show some light shelf dust and need a good cleaning. This is a vintage, antique, or collectible item, and I have described it to the best of my abilities. Most of our items are used and are indicated as such in the condition description.
