Vintage 1950s Majestic Luxcraft Three Shade Table Lamp MCM Mid Century Modern
Unique large mid-century modern table lamp with fiberglass shades. No markings but attributed to Majestic. The lamp lights sequentially – first the center, then the two on the ends, then all three. Made of wood, brass, fiberglass. The shades are in great condition with a little yellowing on the inside. This was an estate sale find, history is unknown but it seems to have been restored. The electric cord seems newer. Rubber padding on the bottom. Paint is in great condition and has a dark grey stone look. Brass is in excellent condition for its age. VTG MCM room divider shelf table pole floor lamp 50′s 60′s majestic space age
PLEASE NOTE – The round larger glass globes are not included with this unit – They are just for the pics. The original globes are shown in the last few pics. You will need to be handy to re-assemble it. Small bit of bow to bottom shelf – rather unavoidable with a piece like this – but overall it is still quite stable. The last few pics show the original more ornate pear shaped globes that are original to the unit. They have a couple flea bite nicks on the edges but are still very presentable. Currently has single position switch which turns all 3 lights on at once. You could easily rewire with a 3 way switch. All wiring is new. Shelf is vintage and has some scuffs and nicks but is overall in very nice vintage unrestored condition. Base shelf is 36 x 12. STUNNING Vtg RETRO 50s ATOMIC Mcm MAJESTIC Era TABLE Z LAMP withAsymmetric SHADES
We are very pleased to offer for sale. This stunning vintage”Atomic” table lamp. The 1950s or 1960s. I believe it was designed and manufactured. By the Majestic Lamp company, from New York City. With walnut wooden boomerang accents and base. And has it’s original asymmetric celluloid shades. Check out my other items. For the other matching floor lamp. The lamp’s measurements are. About 33” inches tall at the top of the top shade. And 20” inches wide from shade to shade. The metal base is about 9.5” inches in diameter. Larger shade: 12″ inches long x 8″ inches high x 8 inches width. Smaller shade: 10″ inches long x 7″ inches high x 8 inches width. This gorgeous vintage 1950s/60s lamp works perfectly, and is in very good condition. The wooden boomerang accents and base are in very good condition. With very little surface marks. The only thing that would need mentioning. Would be areas of tarnishing to the brass. And small marks on the base. That commensurate with it’s age. Both Celluloid shades are in very good condition. With no significant damage besides 3 ridiculously tiny chips on corners of the celluloid. If you write me… I could send close up photos of the tiny chips..
