VINTAGE PAIR OF GERMAN KARL GRIESBAUM STYLE. HAND CARVED BLACK FOREST WOOD. FEMALE AND MALE DRUNKS LEANING ON STREET LAMP POST TABLE LAMPS. THESE MAGNIFICENT PIECES MEASURE FEMALE-19″ TALL TO THE TOP OF THE FINIAL AND IS 7″ LONG AND 5 1/2 WIDE. THE MALE IS 17 1/2″ TALL, 7″ LONG AND 6 1/2 WIDE. THE LIGHTS ARE TURNED ON BY A PUSH BUTTONS LOCATED ON THE BASE. I HAVE FOUND OTHER LISTINGS OF THESE LAMPS AND THEY STATE MADE BY KARL GRIESBAUM BUT I CANNOT PROVE IT. THIS PAIR OF WOODEN FEMALE AND MALE DRUNKS TABLE LAMPS ARE IN GENTLY USED CONDITION. THE BACK PANEL GLASS ON THE FEMALE LAMP IS MISSING AND SOME SHELLAC IS OFF THE WOODEN BASE BUT NOTHING MAJOR. THE MALE ONE HAS NO ISSUES NOTED. THERE ARE NO CHIPS OR BREAKS ON EITHER OF THEM. THE TOP OF THE LAMP POST TIN HAS A SLIGHT BEND WHICH IS ON THE BACK ON THE FEMALE LAMP. THE FEMALES LAMP PLUG IS ALL ORIGINAL AND IS A EUROPEAN PLUG WITH A US ADAPTER ON IT AND IS 100% SAFE TO USE. THE MALE DRUNK IS US CORDED. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PICS AS THEY SHOW ALL. The base is constructed of wood, and then on the interior there are brass rods that echo that bowed out shape of the wooden elements on the exterior. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. We are uncertain as to the maker of the lamp – there are no labels / tags present. It’s a great vintage lamp that is ready to be enjoyed in a new home! The lamp base measures approx. 33.5″ tall (measured from then bottom of the round wooden base to the light socket) x 9.5″ wide x 9.5 deep. The round base at the very bottom of the lamp measures approx. With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. The shade itself measures approx. 19″ tall x 13.25″ in diameter (top) x 17 in diameter (bottom). Again, PLEASE NOTE – the listing is for the LAMP BASE ONLY. CONDITION : The lamp base is in excellent condition – there are no chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring looks to be original, and it is in good shape – no frays, splits, exposed, hard / brittle wires. Unique antique early 1900s solid wood, brass, and copper table lamp with triple socket cluster. Sockets have 1907 patent dates. It does work, however the cord is old and possibly original, the fabric wrapping is frayed in some areas. It is 26 1/2″ tall to top of finial, 23 1/4″ tall to top of sockets, and base is 9 1/2″ by 9 1/2″. Weighs 9 lbs 13 oz. Please see pictures for details and condition.
