Vintage MCM Murano Swirl Mushroom Glass Lamp Italian Art Glass Wood Base 10 1/2
Vintage MCM Murano Swirl Mushroom Glass Lamp Italian Art Glass Wood Base 10 1/2. This wonderful mid-century modern lamp was produced in Murano Italy probably by Vetri and features a creamy white swirl design in a muchroom shape with a wood electric base. Has a brown cord and an inline swich on cord to turn on and off. Just wonderful and ready to use. Measurements are 10 1/2 tall to top of shade and aprox. 9 wide at widest part. 5 1/2 in diameter. The shade itself measures 9 tall. Excellent preowned condition with minor age appropriate wear. It appears the wood base has been recently painted and it has a dark pewter/black hammered look to it. Fine as shown, however as with all vintage lighting, it should be rechecked out by a licensed electrician. Really a wonderful MCM era mushroom lamp. Please look at the photos carefully as they are an important part of my description. Most of my pictures are taken with a magnifying lens giving me clear, close up photos. This tends to also magnify minor flaws on item which many times cannot be seen on actual item. I strive to describe all of my items as accurately and honestly as possible however as. Better descroiption to come later however the pictures really are the best description. There is minor wear to the figure and some tiny chips out of the marble base. There is a piece broken out of the bottom shade that is not noticeable when displayed as pictured. The hinge on back is broken, however the screw in front holds the shade on just fine, simply lift top shade off to replace the bulbs, again, not even noticeable when displayed. The only other thing needing mentioned is that the ring inside that holds the sockets and bulbs does not have the screws in that hold it in place, yhey are really hard to get in because her hands are in the way. Pair Of Vintage Pagoda Lamps Mid Century Asian Ceramic Retro. A superb set of mid century 60s Asian inspired lamps that are in fantastic condition for the age. There are no issues on the base of these lamps chords work well. The back of one of the lamps looks like it got a little white paint on the bottom. It is on the back and causes no cosmetic issue when displayed The color of the base is very beautiful as you can see from the photos cool orange and gold brushed paint job. The texture of the lamps is cool as well, no issues no cracking no chips. The shades are the best part they have little issues no burns and have a really good look to them when turned on as you can see from the photos. These have no major dents all the fabric is intact took a photo of a little area but again this is nothing serious the gold trim gives an amazing touch. In one of the shades it looks as if there was a spill at one time this does not affect the way this lamp lights up as you can see from the photo. This is just a fantastic set and the condition for the age is superb. These measure with the shades on about 31 inches high the base stands 9 inches tall the shade by itself is 20 inches tall and at its widest is 12 inches. These are a perfect size for a bedroom end table or a credenza these will fit in most places. Check out my other auctions and have a great day. Mid century modern brass chrome mushroom Laurel lamp. Lamp has some minor scratches and the shade is slightly bent where it rests on the top of the harp(see pics) Also a few specs of paint on the shade which I’m sure will come off with a little scrubbing.
