Vintage 1980′s Rare Kare Design Verner Panton Danish Moon Sphere Table Lamp
Please NOTE: There is rust on the bottom as you can see in the pics. You can sand this down and paint it chrome or whatever you wanted to paint it. No cracks or anything on the white part. Takes a 40 watt bulb and you can put a different color bulb in it. I put an LED bulb in this and it wouldn’t work. Older light fixtures may have outdated wiring or other electrical components that are not compatible with LED bulbs. This may be the reason… It’s just too old. CFL bulbs do work just fine. 15.5″ tall and 12″ wide. You will want to clean it. I did not because I let the buyers clean vintage items with chemicals of their choosing. A vintage 1970s Meblo table/floor lamp made from glass and chromed aluminium. The lamp is in its original vintage condition. Some small signs of age are visible, but overall exceptionally well maintained, as can be seen from the photos. Diameter (sphere) = 23 cm / 9.06 inches. Diameter (base) = 41cm /16.14 inches. Height = 34cm / 13.39 inches. Takes one regular E27 bulb. It has an European plug, but I can provide a converter for any other electricity network, free of charge. Beautiful spiral round glass lamp, Murano style, retro, vintage, handmade, sphere
Here I have a beautiful unusal spiral round glass lamp and in excellent condition. It gives of a nice warm glow, so perfect if you don’t like bright lighting or if you want something to use in the evening. There are no makers mark or stickers to say who made it or where it is from but compared to others for sale, which are either just plan white or coloured this is very unusal to have the spiral pattern into the glass. This is very similar to the Murano style simialr to there glass mushroom lamps which are very sort after. I can’t say it is Murano but it’s very similar to them, not just the look of the lamp but how it feels. Around the edge from where it is handmade/handblown it’s similar to how they finish the Murano lamps, there not smooth. Who ever made this lamp it looks great with the spiral into the glass and who buys this will have a beautiful unusal lamp. Thank you for looking and please check my other items out. Pr Vtg 70s 80s MOD Sphere Shaped Metal Lamps in Square Cradle Base White
Really fun pair of lamps!! Probably from the late 70′s or early 80s! Each orb is separate from the metal cradle/base and they can be adjusted to point in any direction. The orbs measure 7″ across and the bases are 6″ x 6. Some light scuffs /scratches on the bases – most likely from being moved in the cradle and rubbing against the edge of the cradle/base.
