A very Rare find. A taxidermy “Wood duck” (this is the real duck) incased in a clear glass lamp. This lamp has been refurbished and cleaned. It’s in beautiful original condition. It has three way lighting. You can turn on just the bottom or just the top or both at the same time. This is really an eclectic treasure, and I have had it in my living room while I worked on it, and to be honest I would love to keep it. I don’t hunt and I live in the city. There’s just something about it that I really like. This won’t last. 15″W 31″ tall with shade. The shade is a hunter green. With an early Modern design from the 1940s, these lamps have a Hollywood Regency style and milk glass bell-shaped shades. Rare Find Horsehead Brown Table lamp 1950′s / Great Condition / NO SHADE
This vintage table lamp features a unique horsehead design in a beautiful brown color. The ceramic lamp has a glazed finish and measures 9 3/4″ in height and 7″ in width. It is an electric lamp with a cord color that matches the lampshade, and it is in great condition. The lamp has a mid-century modern style and is a rare find from the 1950s. There are no known chips or cracks. But on the bottom of the ceramic base (see pictures) it’s the way the ceramic dried in the kiln. Originally acquired via the Robert Abbey yearly employee factory sale, we opened it for the first time just today! The bottom has the state of manufacture: 09/08/98 – 27 Years Old last month! Fleur de lis styles leaves cap off the. This was yet another Robert Abbey Fine Lighting Award-Nominated Lamp that had a limited production run and that is nearly impossible to find anywhere else! They long ago did away with the employee sales but over the years, our associate acquired a treasure trove of remarkable pieces of lighting! This is a heavy antique brass and antique white lamp that measures 27 when including its shade. It’s equal parts traditional and vintage style with a gorgeous golden shine. A tapered rectangular pleated shade with golden borders highlights the design and overall gorgeous shaping and crafting of this lamp. Impressive and hard to let go of!

VTG 50s Alligator All-Weather Coats Figural Table Lamp Rainwear Advertising RARE
Vintage 1950s Alligator All-Weather Coats Figural Table Lamp, Mid-Century Rainwear Advertising, Collectible Lighting and Lamps, VG+, RARE Delightful working lamp advertising rainwear from the Alligator Rainwear Company. We found this rare 1950s gem at an estate sale of a local antiques dealer. Our friendly alligator stands 18 1/4″ tall to the socket and is 10 3/8″ long x 4 1/2 wide at the base. He is made of plaster and is in very good vintage condition. Bright painted colors are paired with a detailed texture, as displayed by the “wood grain” pedestal and the “scales” on our friend, who has smiling glass eyes. Occasional small chip flakes are noted on the lamp, the largest measuring 3/8″x1/4″ and located at the lower left corner of the pedestal. Gray felt base with some partial peeling along the left side. The era-correct unpolarized plug and cord together measure slightly over 7 feet and are in exceptional condition, without any cracking or exposed wire. Total weight 6 1/2 lbs. A lovely mid-century advertising piece! Note that the shade and supporting harp are not included. Thank you for looking, and have a wonderful day.
