ANTQ Chinese Electric Table Lamp Converted From Vase- Porcelain 19th Century 15. Very unique lamp with “crackle” finish looks to be intentional not necessarily patina. Colorful and detailed floral design with partridge looking birds. It is believed that this lamp dates back to late 1800s/early 1900s, and was once a beautiful flower vase in early times, now a lamp with an electric cord. The lamp is currently NOT WORKING- but appears to be an issue within the bulb housing not necessarily in the wiring. Will need to be looked at and fixed to be operational. The lamp body sits atop a heavier metal, and decorative, base with a neat pattern. Overall, the lamp looks to be in really condition- especially given the possible age- with a couple of noticed knick- marks in the body of the porcelain lamp. This entire piece is metal with the exception of the candle covers. It’s in pretty good condition but does display some usage and age-related wear such as some splits in the candle covers but they’re not very noticeable unless you squeeze the candle stick, some paint wear not heavy, but it’s still there and some scratches and scuffs. Scuffs but other than that there are no dents in the metal and the color is just gorgeous. It’s like an olive green with black liner. The three-way switch on this piece allows you to use one or three all together at the same time. It’s up to you. It’s not mint out of a store. It does have minor imperfections as it is an old piece.
