A beautiful table lamp with a rare gild-decorated Ice Chipped Green Cased Glass shade, made by Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Co. The lamp shade was prominently featured in Pittsburg’s lighting display at New York Home Furnishing Show August 1912. Reference Mosaic Shades Volume II by Paul Crist, p. The lamp is approx. 22″ high, with an 8 1/2″ diameter base. The glass shade has a 14 diameter. The lamp comes with two antique pull chain sockets, and it has been rewired with cloth cord. Incredible Vintage Murano Glass Mushroom 14.5 Table Lamps rare decorated pair
14 1/2 tall [37cm]. Each has gilt decoration featuring gold line work and festoons encircling the lamps. The base color is white with some blueish gray banded shading that adds depth to the decoration. Refer to photographs to see these incredible lamps side by side, individually and lit. The decoration adds a bit of swanky cocktail party martini for lunch style to these lamps. A perfect compliment to any mid century MCM home. One lamp is in “excellent to mint” condition. The other is good to excellent condition. [due to some loss to the gold decoration]. The bottom edges retain adhesive that held old felt in situ. Please refer to the photographs.
