Vintage 1970′s Van Teal Stacked Green/Teal Lucite Table Lamp w/ Original Shade 35 Tall. Up for sale is this very desirable Hivo Van Teal Lucite table lamp with the original shade. This hand-crafted lamp is 35″ tall to the top of the finial and made of sculpted teal green and clear Lucite and mounted on a 5″ square gilt wood base. The fluted body of the lamp is gold leaf with flecks of teal. The lamp is in excellent working condition. Cosmetically the lamp is in very nice condition, there is some wear along the bottom of the wood base which could be easily repaired. 1970s SPACE AGE GLASS TABLE LAMP, ITALY. Authentic table lamp from the 1970s, made in Italy. Beautiful, durable (in glass and chromed metal), with a thoughtful design and with a value that does not decrease over time. In working order, very good vintage condition , completely sanitized. The lamp take 1x E27 bulb. Led models are fine. The aesthetic qualities of the lamp are evident and can be appreciated, only partially, also in photography, I focus, however, on the details, for example, the bakelite switch used in this lamp, it’s not just any one, it was designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1968. Small components (screws, washers) or some electrical parts (switch, plug, cables, bulb holder) may have been replaced. The economic value of a vintage design object does not decrease over time, but grows.
