Vintage solid brass Asian Pagoda table lamp 1960′s RARE unique piece
Here we have today is a really nice vintage mid century solid brass Asian Pagoda table lamp with finial. This rare lamp stands 38″ tall from base to the top of the finial and is 9″ square at the base. Lamp does work and the cord is in good vintage condition with no cracks of melted places. Lamp is in overall good vintage condition, there are some green marks to the brass at the center of the piece and it is missing the solid brass temple bell that hangs at the center of the piece. The brass has a nice age patina to it and I could not find a makers marks. All items that we sell are used, vintage or just plain old and will show some form of wear, scratches, dents or imperfections which make them unique. 24Vintage Pair of 3 Way Milk Glass& Metal Table Lamps. These are vintage electric 3 way table lamps. They are composed of metal with a black finish, milk glass, and brass tones. Each lamp holds one standard light bulb and a night light bulb. Each measures 32 in height from the base to the top of the finial. The globe is 27 in circumference at the widest point. The base is just under 8 squared. The metal covered area above and below the milk glass globe is 3 high and they are also milk glass. That is one piece of glass from the top to the bottom. Each weigh 6LBS 11OZS before packing. These are in great, vintage condition with only light signs of age or use. One cord has a few flea bites but no wires seen or damaged. Handmade Vintage Rustic French Antique Table Desk Lamp Light Carriage Unique
- but don’t worry.. It is a good example of what i do, and i probably have other lanterns waiting to be made into something just like this so please ask if you want something like it! I have done a hanging version, a wall mounted version and now i thought i would make a free standing/table version of one of these lovely vintage coach lights for a change, and here it is… An excellent addition to the right style of office, desk, study, library etc… Or even just on a shelf or mantelpiece! I have restored the coach light to it’s forma glory by cleaning, removing any traces of rust, replacing the glass, i have then installed a brand new B22 (bayonet) lamp holder and cabling. I then made a base from a piece of real solid hardwood, waxed it, routed it and created a simple stand from some steel, this gives a simple but effective’floating’ but very sturdy light with loads of character and history. The light is mainly black/brushed silver in color, made entirely from metal, there are 2 glass windows to shine the light, the front opens/closes and latches nicely, the round glass on the front has a lovely brass surround. I currently have a similar wall mounted version that matches this light well, so let me know if you are looking for some matching lights and we can do a deal!! The light is vintage but the base, stand, cabling, lamp holder etc. Is all brand new, there is also a simple in-line switch installed. Supplied with French plug top, but can be easily changed to English for a few pence! The size is approximately 420mm high x 150mm wide, it weighs about 1.75kg.
