Pair Of Vintage Danish MCM Spaghetti Globe Lucite Wood Sunflower Table Lamps
IT’S NOT VERY OFTEN YOU SEE A PAIR OF THESE MID CENTURY MODERN TABLE LAMPS IN THIS GREAT OF CONDITION! ONE OF THE GLOBES HAD SUFFERED SOME DAMAGE ALONG ONE EDGE BUT HAS BEEN REPAIRED TO ALMOST NEW CONDITION. There is a slight raised edge on the repair. THERE IS A LITTLE LOSS OF WHITE AND ORANGE LUCITE SPAGHETTI IN THAT AREA BUT YOU WOULD HAVE TO LOOK CLOSELY TO FIND IT. THE OTHER THREE GLOBES ARE ARE IN FINE CONDITION. YOU WILL FIND SOME THINNER AREAS OF LUCITE SPAGHETTI PLASTIC ALONG THE EDGES BUT I BELIEVE THIS IS FROM THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS BECAUSE THE HOT LIQUID LIKE LUCITE WAS APPLIED BY HAND OVER MOLDS. THE WOOD IS VIRTUALLY LIKE NEW ALSO BUT THE BRASS PLATED HARDWARE HAS SOME OXIDATION IN PLACES. THE ELECTRIC SWITCHES ON BOTH LAMPS WORK WELL AND YOU CAN LIGHT ONE OR BOTH GLOBES. THE PLUGS ON THE ELECTRIC CORDS HAVE BEEN REPLACED. AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICS THEY LOOK WONDERFUL LIT OR UNLIT AND WOULD LOOK FANTASTIC IN A MCM DESIGNED HOME. THESE ARE LARGE LAMPS AND REALLY MAKE A STATEMENT! 32.5″ TALL X 27″ WIDE. THESE LAMPS WILL BE DELIVERED IN TWO PACKAGES; ONE FOR THE GLOBES AND ONE FOR THE BASES.
