Vintage Mid Century Modern 36 GRUVWOOD Lamp Double Rattan Fiber Shade SZ LARGE
Wonderful lamp in mint condition, this is the granddaddy of Gruvwood table lamps, standing a full 36 with shade. Manufactured by National Products of Louisville, the Gruvwood line of lamps was selected for the 1964 Worlds Fair to be featured in the House of Good Taste. The line was subsequently used by leading mid century American and European designers of the day in their decor. The name “Gruvwood” came from the use of strips or squares of walnut hardwood that were separated by 45 degree angled gaps. As shown in photos, our lamp is solid and in working condition with its original double shade and wiring. Typical of the age, there is very slight heat stain to the inner shade, very minor and virtually unseen when lamp is on. The metal base show tiny rubs along the bottom edge, again, practically unnoticeable unless flipped over for photos as shown here. An easy fix with dabs of marker or paint. Measures 8.75 at the highest including the glass shade x 9.75 at the widest. Glass measures 7.5″ high x 3.25″ x 3 3/8 wide. Some tarnishing to the metal and some scuffs to the glass. Vintage ArtDeco Metal Double Elephant Lamp withSquare Green Glass Skyscraper Shade
The metal lamp base is 10 1/4 by 4 1/2 inches and the glass shade is 7 1/2 inches tall. I believe it has a new cord and plug as they are vey nice and pliable. There is a push button switch on the back of the base for turning on and off and it is working all the way. A 15 watt bulb is shown in the pictures and is included. There is a crack on the front bottom rim but it blends well and looks pretty natural. The lamp is completely sturdy even so. The beautiful glass shade has external soft ribbing and an overall crackle glass effect. The shade is completely intact with no cracks, chips or damage. Vintage Brass/Copper Double Light Table/Desk Lamp W/Signed NUART Glass Shades. This is a very pretty piece and its in good used condition. The piece has a few light scratches here and there from use and I have tried to show them in some of the pictures, so please study each one carefully. There is one screw that is missing on one the bulb sockets but the other 2 that are still intact keep the shade secure. I believe that this piece use to be brass but there are indications in the arm and sockets that appear to have a brass base and you can tell this when you look at each picture. Each shade is properly marked on the outside rim of each shade as you can see in one of the pictures. The electrical wiring is in good order so you would not need to re-wire the lamp. The piece stands 14 inches and the length from the glass edge of one shade to the other is 19 1/2 inches. The diameter of each shade is 5 inches and the diameter of the base is 4 1/2 inches. Here is a very nice vintage, Gone With The Wind, gold gilded cherub parlor lamp light. This is in excellent pre-owned condition. The gold on the globe is very heavy and very nice. It is in wonderful condition with bare minimal signs of any wear if any at all. The lamp measures 38 tall, including the globe. This displays nicely and would be a great addition to any Cherub decor or anyone’s parlor or collection. This can take a 3 way bulb for low, medium or higher lighting. THE GLOBE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH BARE MINIMAL SIGNS OF ANY PAINT WEAR IF ANY AT ALL. I DO NOT SEE ANY CHIPS OR CRACKS ON THE GLOBE EITHER. THE LAMP IS IN VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT CONDITION. IT SHOWS SOME LIGHT WEAR TO THE FINISH ONLY IN SOME AREAS. THE MARBLE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. ONE OF THE CHERUBS ON THE LAMP BASE WHERE THE POT METAL WAS POURED SHOWS SOME SMALL OPENING SPOTS. This is a great vintage piece and will make for a beautiful room decor and conversation piece for any Cherub or vintage lighting collection. It is a very pretty piece. VTG Italian Double Heron Chinoiserie Fine Porcelain Ceramic Table Lamp Italy 28
Vintage Italian Chinoiserie Porcelain Table Lamp. Features a pair of elegant white herons with fantastic detail. This lamp looks great but will need some fixes. There is one end piece of a reed broken off and a smaller piece under the head of one the herons. These are shown in the last images. This originally had a slender neck attached to the top of the porcelain that is no longer there. Also the top assembly & finial will need to be replaced. The lamp itself works great. There is a makers mark that I’m unfamiliar with. If you’re willing to have a few repairs made this will be less than a third of the cost and look just as nice. It’s a matter of a bit of research and repair cost of bringing it bsck to original or customizing it. This piece measures approx 28″ high X 9″ at the widest point.
