Vintage Authentic Coral Magic Mushroom Lamp – Blue Shade. This lamp is in great condition however the shade was cracked in transportation to me, as can be seen in the pics.. I glued it back together, but it is noticeable. The crack can be put to the back side so that it cannot be seen however like seen in one of the pics. This is a Genuine hard to find Magic Mushroom Lamp from the Magic Mushroom Lamp Company originally based in California. This lamp measures approximately 14″ wide, by 13″ deep by 14 tall. The Blue shade is made to resemble coral and the wood is made to resemble Cypress or Burlwood. The smaller mushroom caps are real coral. Included is a blue bulb to help blue-ify the blue shade. It has a marking on the top of the base by the bulb fixture that I believe is a date that says 1977. There is an on/off switch on the chord. Here is a hard to find genuine Magic Mushroom Lamp Company fro California. It is a larger one, measuring approx. 16.5 high to the top of the shade. It is formed to resemble Cypress or Burlwood and Coral. There is an on/off thumb switch on the cord it is works fine… Making the the shade glow beautifully. There is some areas of breakage on the base and originally had some smaller caps that are missing. The shade has a crack that is visible on the inside but not on the outside. Vintage Magic Mushroom Coral Table Lamp with Burl Wood Tree Base Authentic
Super funky Authentic Magic Mushroom from the Lamp Company, Los Angeles CA dated 1988 on bottom. There is one large’cap’ which is the shade, that is 9 inches wide in diameter, and there are 2 much smaller caps. I’m not sure what these caps are made from but they are very detailed as you can see in the pictures. Overall dimensions of the lamp are approximately 10 inches wide by 10.5 inches tall. The shade appears to tilt slightly to one side on the bulb, but I do believe this can be fixed with a different bulb or tightening the metal grips on the shade itself. I did not try to fix this as it is fine how it is and I did not want to damage anything. (See picture 4 specifically). There doesn’t appear to be any cracks or chips and is in overall great condition. This amazing lamp is truly one of a kind nor will you ever find another one like it! I made this lamp from mostly old and hard to find vintage items to make it even more unique. When I think of steampunk I think of old industrial machines and the good ol hard working American men an women that built this great country. To show the proud American colors I installed a red, white, & blue led edison bulbs that are all on their own switch so you can light up which ever you choose or all at the same time! I consider this lamp steampunked to the extreme (Exsteamly Punked). This lamp is made with a large amount of cast iron so it weighs in at 88 pounds an measures 36″ tall, 25″ wide, & 18 deep. This wonderful masterpiece will look absolutely astonishing in many types of settings and will surely be a attention getter.
