Pair of Vintage Mid Century Modern Tension Pole Lamp Tables Glass Globes MCM
Offered for sale is this nice original pair of vintage mid century tension lamp tables. Each has 2 hanging 11 amber/cream glass globes that are smooth on the outside and have a textured quilt pattern in the inside.. The metal parts of the pole and fittings are wood and brass toned. The tables are laminate. The curved wooden pirces have stickers that say AMERICAN WALNUT. The switch is 3 way, you light one, two or all three lights at once. The lamps works great, wiring is in good condition. Table tops are very good. The pole sections have some light tarnish/scratches from age. The top on one lamp is missing a plastic cover where the tension rod comes out, you cant really see it and the tension still works fine. There is also a missing rivet on one of the wood pieces that has been replaced by a screw. The lights themselves still look great. I can take some pictures to assist in that, but you will need to be capable of putting the pieces back together please. Lease see my photos for more on condition. Both work fine, necks are a little loose. Both are in great shape, no chips, cracks, or damage. There is some loss of finish on the wood base, and both plug heads look like they were replaced. One lamps has all of the larger crystals while one lamps has mostly the larger crystals but a couple smaller ones. It’s really not noticeable. There is some minor wear to the metal. No significant or perhaps any cracks or chips in the crystals. Both in good working condition. Non-smoking pet friendly home. All breakables will be packaged carefully. Vtg Pair MID Century Modern Orange Metal Table Lamps Atomic Eames Danish
VTG PAIR MID CENTURY MODERN ORANGE METAL TABLE LAMPS RETRO ATOMIC EAMES ERA? Estate find, these 2 lamps measure 24.5″ tall and the base measures 8″ across. They are a nice orange color, still very vibrant color to it and the orange surface is in very good condition. We did not see a brand name on these. The underside of one has a cardboard-like base insert piece; the other does not have this piece and the wires are exposed (see photos). The brass metal trim and finials are all tarnished – the finial screw has a little wobble to it from age. Both have the finials. Both appear to have the original cords and wiring. The lamps turn on and off with a small round rotary knob switch on the base of the lamps… Both bulbs turn on at the same time, and there is not an option with the switch to just have one bulb on at a time. The lamps comes with their originial harps & pierced finials. The embossed flower motiff is very detailed – turn knob switch – long cords- originial Wildwood Label on the socket still in place. The lamps are very heavy. Measurements are: 31 inches tall top to base bottom. 20 1/2 inches tall from the socket to bottom base. 6x6x6x6 canister bases / base top to bottom 14 inches. Condition: Very nice for the age with a few scuffs on the hand painted area of the canister base- (see pics). Cords are in great condition- brass by the sockets and finials show age wear as pics display.
