For your consideration are these matched pair of quintessential French Art Deco chrome up lights, lamps. Also referred to as accent , banquet or mantle lighting. In excellent vintage condition with all new wiring/sockets/switches/plugs to US showroom standards.. No issues that we can see. Ziggurat form base is capped by a roundel of small spheres supporting the urn body. Somewhat similar to Deco urns designed by B. This pair of lamps look like they came out of a time capsule. Very clean, nearly mint with no damage, no repairs, still retain original tags even. For vintage lamps you will simply not find better condition. Huge scale, wonderful retro design and built with Rembrandt’s high standards. Direct from the home of the original owners, do not miss! Please study several pics for the best description, read long condition report and send ANY questions you may have. 44 1/2″ tall to top of finial, shades are about 18″ tall x 14″ diameter, top of wooden spines are 21″ high, wood is 12″ across corner to corner, 7 1/2″ diameter base. All original and very very clean from top to bottom. Finials are great, all shades are free of damage, 3 way switches on both lamps work fine, original cords are good, metal fitting are clean the wooden portion are also clean with a strong finish (few light scuffs at the top edge of a few spines-see 6th photo) and metal bases are clean, free of dings etc. Near mint all the way and ready to use. For your consideration is this pair of large impressive scale James Mont carved wood open column twisted helix form table lamps with original finial and shades. They seem to be in remarkable original condition, with minor loss at the bases. Illustrated and described in Todd Merrill’s KING COLE PENTHOUSE, 2007. In addition to minor finish losses there is minor damage at the shade. We have provided images for your examination. These lamps are impressive not only because of the unique design, but because of the spectacular scale. They measure 6.75″ square at the base , Overall height is 46.50″, Secondary height to top of original finial is 43.50″ and to the top of socket is 32.75″. Helix column is 4.5″ wide and 24.5″ top to bottom. Shades measure 19″ high, 17″ across the bottom and 15.75 accross the top. There is an in line switch and the socket has a three way utility. Pair Vintage Blue Drip Glaze Squash Shaped Ceramic Lamps MID Century
Pair of unique and unusual mid-century blue drip. They are pretty large, about 15 across. They stand 32″ to top of harp and 21″ to top of socket. Someone colored in one base with black around the bottom. Think it looks better, but I left the other one. No chips or cracks. Necks are made of plastic not wood. But still have a nice mid, century, modern feel. Drip glaze is really beautiful on the lamps! Pair (2) Vtg 1968 Mid Century Nessen Chrome Table Lamps with Mushroom Shade #6026
What a gorgeous pair of lamps!! Walter Von Nessen created some of the most iconic Mid Century Modern Lighting and this pair is a shining example! Made by Nessen Lighting, they still retain the original tag on the bottom of the base with the Bronx NY address. The chrome is in really great condition with no pitting. The shades have yellowed slightly, and have some very minor flea bites along the bottom edges. One shade has a scuff around the bottom and the other has damage at the top where it mounts to the lamp. Looks like it was probably from having too high a wattage bulb installed. They each takes one bulb – no wattage is indicated, but I’d be very careful with the plastic shade to keep the wattage quite low and avoid further damage. The cords are nice and flexible and the switches works well. Even with the damage to the shades, these display beautifully. They would also look spectacular with a nice simple drum shade. The bases are 5″ across and the lamps measure 19″ in height. The shades are 11.5 across. I have another of this same style Nessen lamp listed as well.
