Pair of Small Tripod Lamps Mid Century Modernist Bauhaus Vintage 1950s 60s 70s
Mid century pair of bedside table lamps. Lampshades made of white corrugated plastic attached to a steel circular base with three wire legs. The legs are lacquered with black paint and have decorative white plastic ball feet. The original s witch is on the cord. Very good condition and in full working order. Slight blemish to one of the shades (please see picture). The lamps take one E14 bulb each. Can be used with 110-230v supplies. As with all vintage electrical equipment, it is advisable to have them checked by a qualified electrician. Although we strive to give as accurate a description as possible, patina and age-related wear are to be expected. However, we will always indicate any noticeable defects. Length of cord: 150cm/59. Pair Vintage Mid Century Sonneman Kovacs Style Chrome Globe Eye Ball Table Lamps
For Sale Pair Vintage Mid Century Robert Sonneman Kovacs Style Chrome Globe Eye Ball Table Lamps. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about mid century lamps. I don’t think it is Laurel. The ball joint is wrong. I don’t think they are Lightolier, the bell is different. I give it a decent shot that these are Kovacs. But can’t be sure. There is a 20% chance they are Italian. They are GREAT LAMPS. No corners were cut making these. I love how they look. Just the right height. I love the tilt of the stand. I love the ball joint. I cleaned the inside of one of the bells (pictured). Someone had obviously put in too strong a bulb at some point. It was really easy. I didn’t clean the other but will do so if requested. You’ll never see the inside as most bulbs will block the view. Just a tremendous pair of chrome mid century lamps. You won’t find better. DIMENSIONS – Total Height = Approx. Ball width = approx. Pair (2) Mid Century Modern Vintage GRUVWOOD Lamps Walnut Black Metal Eames Era
Excellent pair of lamps in working condition, really lucky to find a matching pair and in such great condition. See photos for measurements, they are approximately 26 tall to the top of the harp. Some history of the Gruvwood style. Manufactured by National Products of Louisville, the Gruvwood line of lamps was selected for the 1964 Worlds Fair to be featured in the House of Good Taste. The line was subsequently used by leading mid century American and European designers of the day in their decor. The name “Gruvwood” came from the use of strips or squares of walnut hardwood that were separated by 45 degree angled gaps. The lamps show light evidence of use, a few minor rubs to the black metal trim on top and bottom, an easy fix with a dab of marker or paint. The walnut is in great shape as shown in photos. 2 different switch mechanisms, not sure which came first but one was obviously changed at some point. The protective felt bases are no longer there but you can see remnants around the edges of the bases. Please see our other mid century Gruvwood lamp listings. Pair Of Vintage 60s Lamps Mid Century Asian Ceramic Retro Atomic Chalkware Rare
Pair Of Vintage Pagoda Lamps Mid Century Asian Ceramic Retro. A superb set of mid century 60s Asian inspired lamps that are in fantastic condition for the age. There are no issues on the base of these lamps chords work well. The back of one of the lamps looks like it got a little white paint on the bottom. It is on the back and causes no cosmetic issue when displayed The color of the base is very beautiful as you can see from the photos cool orange and gold brushed paint job. The texture of the lamps is cool as well, no issues no cracking no chips. The shades are the best part they have little issues no burns and have a really good look to them when turned on as you can see from the photos. These have no major dents all the fabric is intact took a photo of a little area but again this is nothing serious the gold trim gives an amazing touch. In one of the shades it looks as if there was a spill at one time this does not affect the way this lamp lights up as you can see from the photo. This is just a fantastic set and the condition for the age is superb. These measure with the shades on about 31 inches high the base stands 9 inches tall the shade by itself is 20 inches tall and at its widest is 12 inches. These are a perfect size for a bedroom end table or a credenza these will fit in most places. Check out my other auctions and have a great day. Pair Vintage Pierced Chinese Porcelain Ginger Jar Table Lamps, 1960s Hong Kong
For your consideration, a pair of Chinese pierced porcelain blanc de chine ginger jar table lamps, circa 1960s Hong Kong. The lamps are in overall good condition with mild wear. Some scuffing and scratching to the wood bases and one wood base has been broken and repaired with glue. No major cracks or chips to the porcelain. The jars are a separate base and lid so the construction is slightly loose with the lamp hardware. The wiring and lamp hardware is in good working order but at least 60 years old so you might want to consider having them replaced by a professional for safety. Lamp base measures 12 inches in height, 14.5 inches in height with light socket.
