Antique/Vintage Matched Table Lamps 18 Century Porcelain Figurines Female Male Antique/Vintage matched table lamps. Female and Male figurines in 18th Century costume. We are very pleased to off this matched set of antique/vintage table lamps with porcelain figurines. This is a beautiful matched set of Vintage/Antique table lamps. The lamps have Porcelain figurines of a woman and a man dressed in 18th century costume, The woman’s costume looks to be casual, perhaps suitable for a summer day in the country. Her dress is decorated with bows of pink and blue ribbon. The trim of her bodice, and the hem of her skirt is accented with gold lustre. She carries a bouquet of flowers in her left hand The man is a lavender overcoat with purple cuffs, beneath he wears a white waist coat with trim stripes in purple and gold lustre. His Breeches are wide pale blue and white vertical striped. He is holding a rose up in his left hand. Both figures wear pale blue slippers and white hose. Both are standing on matched ornate pedestals. The pedestals are mounted to a 5 inch diameter by 15/16 inch slab of what looks to be white marble, or alabaster. These slabs are nestled onto a nestled cast base metal base. The design of the base is very ornate, with swirls of scrolled leafs and swoops o graduated strings of beads. There are eight low oval profile feet at the scalloped bottom edge. The lamp hardware, sockets, harps, and harp finial, are all mounted to 11 1/4 inch tall brass tubes. The tubes mount to the stone circular slabs, and rise up, and curve over the tops of the figures. From the finial to the base these lamps are 23 3/4 inches tall. The base diameter is approximately 6 7/8 in diameter. The lamps each weigh approximately 5 pounds 8 ounces. Condition- The condition of both lamps is very good, each have been tested, and found to work fine. They will require a bit of cleaning, but aside from that they are ready to go. The lamps are offered without shades, so you can shop locally for a shade that best suits the color scheme of your existing decor. This is a beautiful set of porcelain figurine lamps.
