Amazing and monumental Hollywood Regency beauty designed around incredible reverse painted Murano style glass. Glass is reverse sculpted with curvilinear ribbing on the inside only and has a smooth surface. Exaggerated squatty blown glass body is very sexy. Castings with so much detail and drip with luscious antiquing finish. Thick tassels are ochre with gold banding. RECENTLY REWIRED FOR YOUR IMMEDIATE ENJOYMENT! While this lamp shows really well with no glass chips or issues there are some minor scratches, oxidation and discolorations mostly from age and normal light use. DATE: 60′s- 70′s. Vintage Atomic Mid Century Modern Beehive Tripod Table Lamp AQUA Shade. Lamp measures 12 inches in height. Measurement taken from bottom of tripod wooden legs to top of plastic aqua shade. Measures 16 circumference around widest point. CONDITION: Very light tarnish on gold toned metal tripod lamp holder. Light shadow stain on shade as seen in photo 7 and oxidation stain on bottom of plastic where it sits in metal holder. See photos 4 and 5. One of the wooden leg covers must have been missing and original owner made a make shift wooden copy which serves the purpose. It does have a crack in the wood (see last 2 photos). All in all, it still displays well. I did not clean. Will leave that up to new owner. Very nice piece of mid century decor. Working, light-up condition with turn style switch. Large Vintage Chalkware Cobra Style Universal Sanctuary Corp, Chicago IL. Large Modern Atomic Era, Fiberglass Shade, 30, 1950′s KR-10-20 is amazing! A large lamp at 30 in height. The Shade is made from spun Fiberglass and is in very good condition. No damage to it at all. The cord is in good condition. The ceramic part of the lamp has 1 chip in the back, you can see it in the picture. It is just on the surface and does not affect the lamp at all. Other than that it is in very good condition. This lamp features 2 night light bulbs on the stand. I could not get these to work. May need the sockets replaced or you may be ok with them not working. I call this a Cobra lamp because one side of the lamp stand looks like it has a Snake skin pattern. This is a very beautiful impressive lamp from the 50′s! Please look through all the pictures to get a better idea of condition. Items may have lite surface scratches from use that are normal for it’s age.
