Vintage Hanging or table top Oil Rain Lamp Motion Nude Lady Greek Goddess 1970s. Overall this piece is in fantastic condition for its age. Its been in my family since the 70s, and properly stored for many years. I dont know much about it except that it works and was well cared for. I do know my grandfather had some work done on it 20 years ago or so. The electrical cord/plug is on the newer side and is set for table top use. It does have a small dent as seen in pictures. Lady spins around as rain comes down. Oil drips from every line as it should. Theres a small motor/rotating noise as she spins. Could use a proper cleaning. The goddess is a bit dusty. Due to the fragility and how little I know regarding her Im too afraid to take apart and properly dust her off. Please feel free to ask questions. I will do my best to answer. Thank you for looking. Vintage ART DECO ART NOUVEAU NUDE FIGURAL LADY TABLE DESK LAMP w GLOBE SHADE
For sale is a vintage Figural NUDE Lady from the Art Deco time period. This lamp is untested and may need rewiring as is the case with anything this age. This is a neat old original figural piece that looks real cool as it sits. The shade does not have any chips nor cracks. On the back of the lady there is a very small spot where there is no metal, a bit of a tiny hole as shown in picture #10. Also in pictures #11 and #12 I tried to show on the bottom of the lamp that there are two small cracks on the ledge. There is a light indent on the side ledge and a very very small crack, I just wanted to note it. Putting a cover on the bottom could very well hide this but I wanted to make sure to point them out and disclose everything. This is a beautiful old original piece. Vintage Art Deco Chandler Laying Lady Lamp
VINTAGE ART DECO CHANDLER LAYING LADY LAMP. We have up for consideration a stunning and rare Art Deco 1980′s modernistic style semi nude flapper lady metal lamp with geometric glass shade. She is patterned after a famous Nuart Creation of the 1920′s, and she is truly exquisite! This wonderful deco lady has a 1920′s flapper hairdo, she is laying on her stomach, resting on elbows, with hands holding up geometric designed glass shade. There is a draped scarf over part of her body. The overall measurement is 11″ long, 5″ wide, and 9 tall including shade. The shade alone measures 4″ tall and 5″ wide from corner to corner. The opening is 2 wide. This beautiful lamp is made of some kind of metal with a satin silver finish – a magnet will not stick to it. The shade is made of a six paneled frosted glass with a geometric design on each panel. This pretty deco lady is signed “Chandler T” on the side of the base (see picture). The condition is amazingly very good – no chips, breaks, or repairs. The shade is also in great condition. She has a great deco look – very modernistic and unique. Pictures don’t do her justice. She is truly a quality piece, and would make a wonderful addition to someone’s collection. Thanks for checking us out. 1930 Max Le Verrier Art Deco Nude Lady Lamp Vintage Spelter Figural Frankart Era
Better descroiption to come later however the pictures really are the best description. There is minor wear to the figure and some tiny chips out of the marble base. There is a piece broken out of the bottom shade that is not noticeable when displayed as pictured. The hinge on back is broken, however the screw in front holds the shade on just fine, simply lift top shade off to replace the bulbs, again, not even noticeable when displayed. The only other thing needing mentioned is that the ring inside that holds the sockets and bulbs does not have the screws in that hold it in place, yhey are really hard to get in because her hands are in the way.
