Vintage mid century modern, Bill Curry designed, Laurel mushroom globe lamp. Slightly flared, cast metal cylinder base is covered in a dark walnut wood veneer topped with an oversize matte glass mushroom globe. This fabulous lamp demands attention, it is simply striking. The base has a small 1/8 square veneer chip and a small dent. From 4-5′ away, the areas are insignificant. The base simply has normal scratches for it’s age. The lamp works as it should and the wiring looks healthy. The base is equipped with an on/off brass turn switch, for your convenience. Base has a black felt bottom and boast an original Laurel lamp tag near the socket. The lamp does not have a dimmer, I used my dimming tester to photograph in different lighting. The glorious shade is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. All my items are professionally packaged and fully insured. Measurements are as follows. Overall height – 12 1/2 inches.
