A stunning pair of a vintage industrial Mek Elek lamps. An exceptional pair meticulously restored Mek Elek lamps with the usual amazing build quality & the wonderful raw finish highlighting the superb level of engineering on these industrial classics. The taupe shades distinguished these lamps from the more common green variety & were reserved for government use only, both are marked at the joint with the crown stamp and the letters ER. Superb examples in every way. Wired in twisted black flex & mounted on fitting cast iron disks for added stability. Price is PER LAMP with two available. Excellent condition, a couple of light marks to the bases. Measurement given(132cm) is a flat out measurement (lamp fully extended) & overall height depends on position. The lamp can be removed from the cast iron disk prior to sending on request. Further images available on request & always feel free to get in touch for a detailed condition report. The lamp works perfectly having been recently rewired but as with all old lamps I must recommend getting it checked by a qualified electrician prior to use. Any questions, please do ask. Atomic Age Floor Lamp SUPER RARE. Mid Century Modern Gold Plated. Gold Plated Metal Base there are various tarnished areas throughout the metal on the lamp(see photos). Teak Wood, gold metal and abstract metal leaves surround Hard Plastic Shades (plastic inserts on lamp shades have yellowed a bit over age). Decorative metal and leaf on lower base. Faux wood table (table has a slight scratch). Most of these lamps had a minimum wattage for bulbs. Usually no more than 60W. 2 ASIAN STYLE BLUE ON WHITE Vintage TABLE/DESK LAMPS Lights CHINESE Birds Floral. A set of two (2) vintage matching Table Lamps with porcelain Blue on White Asian Style design. We are pleased to present this set of two (2) vintage Asian Style Table Lamps for your consideration. They have porcelain center sections with a Blue on White Floral and Bird design. The bases are wood and there are brass caps, heavily patined, at the top and bottom of the porcelain. We opened one up to look for identifying marks and found the porcelain to be unmarked, solid at the bottom except for an added hole, and open at the top (see pictures 9, 10, and 11). The entire assembly is held together by a tube which runs through the entire lamp and holds the cord. It is secured by a single nut on the bottom of the lamp (see picture 5). The Lamps are designed for North American 110/115/120 Volts AC service and have a standard 2 prong plug. They are switched at the bulb socket. The switch is an older style 3-way (designed for a 3-way bulb), but are backwards compatible with a 1-way (single wattage) bulb. With a 1-way bulb, the switch has a On-On-Off-Off pattern. With a 3-way bulb, it is Low-Med-High-Off. The Lamps are offered without shades, but do have the top section that the shades attach to. They measure 29 inches in total height (measured to the top of the finial on the shade bracket). The bases are 6-1/2 inches in diameter, and the two Lamps weigh 9 pounds in total. Both Lamps were tested and were in working condition. The cords show some wear, but I didn’t see any breaks in the insulation. The decorative trim on the metal caps has a few small splits, with a repair/patch on one at the bottom (see picture 8). The porcelain sections looked fine, with no chips, cracks, or hairlines. We rate the condition of both Lamps as good to very good. All pictures show the actual Lamps you will receive. These are two nice decorative Lamps with attractive Asian style designs. Retro Pineapple Figural Lamps Vintage Pair Table Top Lights Lighting Unusual. I’m guessing they are late 50′s to early 1960′s era, but don’t know for sure. They are unmarked with just the number “3001″ on each base. The metal used appears to be a pot metal or base metal with a finish on the exterior. Each lamp measures approx. 21 tall and is approx. 7 across the legs of base. The frosted looking finish is an applied finish and shows wear through to the glass underneath. The glass is actually clear and if rubbed to hard the finish does come off. They light up, but the cords are old and the plugs show bending to prongs. So, we would say these should be rewired before use. DOES NOT COME WITH shades or shade brackets, they come exactly as pictured. The tops show some light shelf dust and need a good cleaning. This is a vintage, antique, or collectible item, and I have described it to the best of my abilities. Most of our items are used and are indicated as such in the condition description. If indicated as New or NOS they are exactly that, instead of being in a used condition.
