Offered here is this Fabulous Vintage Milk Glass Table Lamp. The lamp has brass feet, top shade support platform, shade, chimney and socket. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, however, it does need a good cleaning. It has a beautiful painted floral design on it. It looks like it was converted to electric from oil at some point. The lamp is about 11.25″ tall at the socket and shade support, is 19.25″ tall at the top of the chimney, 17″ tall at the top of the shade, and 5.25″ in diameter at the brass foot, which has fabulous detail. The shade is 7″ in diameter at the base, and 5.25″ in diameter at the ruffled top rim. It is a beautiful vintage converted lamp in good working condition that would make a nice addition to any room. Amethyst Glass Federal Style Table Lamp 1930s 40s Vintage Corded Electric
The glass has a nice cut or engraved floral type of motif. The lamp is unbranded – no markings that I can see. It retains the original underside felt bottom. The stem is fluted as you can see and the bottom appears to be weighted. The base section is plated metal, there are a couple of vertical cracks as shown in the pics – they are subtle but can be noticed when viewing with scrutiny. The socket functions correctly and the lamp lights as it should. The cord needs a bit of attention as noted in the condition report. The lamp stands approx 26″ to the top of the screw on finial and approx 17-1/2″ to the top of the single socket. The base diameter is 5-1/2 and the lamp weighs approx 3 lb 2 oz. The harp does not come off, so it makes the box taller than it would otherwise – but that is how it was made. The metal part where the finial screws onto, I will have it turned upside down for packaging – obviously all you will have to do is spin it right side up after receipt. Not Rocket Science – if this throws anyone off – I suggest getting some Alpha Brain. If there is any damage to the outer box after its been received, immediately take pics of the damage. Follow all my instructions for the claim process and contact me asap. You will be required to help with any information that I request – pics of the damage, pics of the outer box, inner box and packaging materials – so do not throw any of that out. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING, PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX, AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. ANTQ Chinese Electric Table Lamp Converted From Vase- Porcelain 19th Century 15. Very unique lamp with “crackle” finish looks to be intentional not necessarily patina. Colorful and detailed floral design with partridge looking birds. It is believed that this lamp dates back to late 1800s/early 1900s, and was once a beautiful flower vase in early times, now a lamp with an electric cord. The lamp is currently NOT WORKING- but appears to be an issue within the bulb housing not necessarily in the wiring. Will need to be looked at and fixed to be operational. The lamp body sits atop a heavier metal, and decorative, base with a neat pattern. Overall, the lamp looks to be in really condition- especially given the possible age- with a couple of noticed knick- marks in the body of the porcelain lamp.
