Beautiful pair of carved alabaster lamps. Lamps are 35″ tall to the top of finial and the base is 6″X6. These would be beautiful with gray walls and gray or black shades. Very nice heavy lamp. Vintage Pair Of French Neoclassical Style Green & Gold Tole Column Table Lamps
The lamps feature a foliate design on the column shaft, and designs of torches and winged quivers alternating around the sides of the base. The sockets of both lamps are articulated and have separate pull-chain switches. Marked Made in France. They are dark green in color. Age: Mid 20th Century Original cloth wiring that you may want to rewire for safety. Measurements: 33 1/2″ H to Finial(adjustable 3 1/2″) Base is 5 1/2 square. One lamp has a slight dent, see last photo. This is not bad and could be turned around so you wouldn’t notice. Also, looks like a gold touch up in one spot. LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS. They use Regular Bulbs. The On/Off Switch is on the Cord. The Signature is a Sticker on the Bottom of the Lamp (see picture). There is a some Mild Scratches and Oxidation. Nice Looking & working Lamps. Here are the Small Issues. One Lamp has a small Discolored Spot on the Base (see picture). One Lamp I installed a New Socket I could not find one like it, so I used one with a Small Pull Chain (see picture). That Chain has to be pulled on and will work all the Time, when you Use the On/Off Switch on the cord. One Shade has a big Tear (see picture). The Shade is Good. Local pick-up is always welcomed. Phenomenal table lamp attributed to Paul Mayen for Habitat, c1970′s. Polished steel column base with integrated white acrylic lantern, topped with a cylindrical white opaque lucite shade and white enameled metal diffuser. 3-way switch illuminates lower lamp, upper, and then both. Takes 5 candelabra based bulbs, not included. In very good vintage condition. Some oxidation and light wear from age and use. No damage to note. 2 Vtg. STIFFEL Neo-Classical Mid-Century Column Torchiere Table Lamps- Nice Cond
Offered here is a pair of large vintage brass and enamel neo-classical column torchiere table lamps. Made by Stiffel of Chicago. These mid-century lamps are in nice condition with no damage and just minor patina on the brass. There are no missing or broken pieces and all parts appear to be original. The lamps are clean ready to use. The grapes and leaves twined around the column are solid brass. The three-way sockets and switches work properly and the electric cords and plugs are fine. Measurements are 38 to the. Milk glass diffuser tops, which are 8 across. 22 1/2″ to the top of the column forms and the bases are 7″ square. The original foil paper labels are gone, but they are marked Stiffel on the glass diffusers. These are top of the line Stiffel lamps with detailed superior styling and they will enhance any room. They are solid and heavy, weighing 13 lbs. Just add shades to complete these lamps. Please view all pictures for details. Extra care and padding will be used in packaging to insure safe travel.
