Vintage Lion Table Lamp Berman Neoclassical Gilded Lamp
This beautiful vintage table lamp by BERMAN features a neoclassical design with a lion’s body in gilded gold with a crackle finish on shaft of lamp. The bell shaped shade measures 10.5″ tall with the top width at 7.5″ and bottom width at 13. Some small stains on inside of shade which do not show through shade while on or off. The medium-sized lamp is made of metal and a type of ceramic I believe. Base measures 5″ x 5″. It has a corded electric power source with a knob control. The lamp stands at 31.5 inches in height from bottom of base to top of finial. Vintage Berman Lion Table Lamps
Vintage Berman Lion Table Lamps. Beautiful set of vintage Berman table lamps with excellent shades! Measurements: see the pictures for measurements. I used a measuring tape to measure all of the dimensions and took pictures. Weight: About 11-1/2 pounds each. These are an excellent vintage condition. There may be minor wear marks but nothing that I see. The sockets and cords have been replaced and aren’t original. The switch on one of the lamps doesn’t turn well – i think the plastic knob cover is stripped and needs to be replaced. Meaning, If you plug in the lamp, it turns on, but I can’t seem to turn it off with the knob at the socket. Might need a new cord and socket to work properly – I don’t know. The shades are in very good vintage condition as well and it’s possible that they are silk, but I don’t know. They could use a bit of cleaning but I vacuumed them.
