VINTAGE MID-CENTURY RUBY RED GLASS with CRYSTAL PRISMS & BRASS BASE 16 ELECTRIC LAMP. (2ND PHOTO IS LAMP POWERED ON). THE CORD IS FULLY FUNCTIONAL AND HAS NO TEARS OR RIPS IN THE CASING. THERE ARE EXACTLY 10 ETCHED CRYSTAL PRISMS. COMES WITH A FUNCTIONAL LIGHT BULB. THE FOUR FEET ON THE BASE ARE DECORATIVE BRASS FISH. THERE ARE NO CRACKS OR CRAZING OR REPAIRS IN THE RUBY RED GLASS THAT WE CAN SEE BUT THERE IS QUITE A BIT OF MINOR WEAR WHICH INCLUDES TWO CHIPS ON THE TOP EDGE ON THE DECORATIVE RAISED POINTS. WE HAVE SHOWED THESE IN OUR LAST TWO PICTURES. THE ETCHED PRISMS THAT HANG OFF THE LAMP HAS SOME SCRATCHES BUT NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. THERE IS ONE BASE FISH FOOT THAT IS SLIGHTLY BENT INWARD WHICH WE HAVE SHOWED IN OUR 3rd TO LAST PICTURE AND SOME MODERATE GOLD TRIM FADE MOST EVIDENT ON THE BOTTOM AND THINNEST MIDDLE AREA. 9 BASE DIAMETER (fish foot to fish foot). 7.5 TOP DIAMETER. Vintage 3 Light Lotus Flower Table Lamp, Gray Smoke Glass, Brass, Black Base
Vintage 3 Light Lotus Flower Table Lamp, Tall Smoke Glass, Brass, Black Base. Stunning Tall table lamp has a vertical Curvy black metal base with 3 large glass lotus flowers in smoke grey. The large gold metal flower frames have a small round ball between every petal & 4 tabs at each petal tip for holding the glass in place. While the exterior side of the flower glass is a smoke grey color, the inside is an off white. These opposing sides create a lovely effect when lit & the use of colored lightbulbs more profound. The lamp is in good working order without missing or broken petals & I cannot find any scratches on the black base. I see a few minor flaws that are difficult to notice so I’ve magnified these areas in the images: There are a few glass petals with rough edges, 1 with a very small surface chip & another with a small scuff near the glass edge. There are two other petals that show a hazy bruise in the center. I’m not totally sure if these haze marks are permanent or something that can be removed with a different cleaning agent. Please refer to photos. APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS: Overall: 18″ inches x 37 & 1/2″ inches Tall Glass Flowers: 13″ inch diameter x 7 & 1/2″ inches Base: 10 inch diameter. Vintage Antique HANDEL Table Lamp Base A & C Art Nouveau Rewired All Original
This HANDEL lamp base has been rewired with new twisted black 7 foot cord. It does have it’s original 4 cap and finial. The lamp base is made of cast spelter, with an original antique bronze finish, with light wear as shown. No damage to lamp base, there is wear to finish as expected. It has two sockets, both casements are Hubbel, but the interior to one has been replaced. So, it has one acorn pull chain and one other style. Both pull chains are working well. See close up photos, as to details of finish. This lamp base is not signed, it was made by Handel, the Handel Signature would have been on a brown felt bottom which is missing.
