Vintage Pair George Kovacs Stacked Ball Chrome Table Lamp Mid Century Modern MCM
Up for sale is this vintage pair of elegantly formed 1960s Mid-Century Modern. George Kovacs stacked ball chrome table lamps. They both work with original wiring but highly suggest re-wiring. Measure 18 to top of balls. 21.5 to top of socket. Approximately 6 in diameter. Harps are close to matching but not alike. Good overall vintage condition. (I polished them myself). Noticed two small dents in the back area on one lamp one is on the top ball and one on the bottom ball (look at the last three pictures). Is located on the backside of the lamp and hidden from view. The black felt on bottom of lamps is still Present. Just add drum black shade with silver lining and you got a wonderful set of lamps. Price is for the pair! Antique Oak Stick and Ball Lamp Parlor Table Gingerbread Victorian Vintage 30.5
Beautiful antique table made of solid oak wood. It has stick & ball legs and gingerbread trim around the apron with a beveled top edge. Table has two tiers and is perfect as a lamp, accent or entryway table. Perfect table for Victorian, Arts & Crafts, Mission, Rustic, Farmhouse or vintage style decors. It measures 16″ x 16″ x 30 1/2 tall. Table is in wonderful antique condition with age appropriate wear. It has a hairline age crack on the top and one chip on the edge of one of the gingerbread trims. There is also some type of stain on the top. Otherwise table is solid and sturdy with no other known defects. Please view description and photos carefully. Amazing for adding all kinds of beautiful lighting effects due to its unusual magnetic part which allows you to create multiple angled positions. For Sale Pair Vintage Mid Century Robert Sonneman Kovacs Style Chrome Globe Eye Ball Table Lamps. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about mid century lamps. I don’t think it is Laurel. The ball joint is wrong. I don’t think they are Lightolier, the bell is different. I give it a decent shot that these are Kovacs. But can’t be sure. There is a 20% chance they are Italian. They are GREAT LAMPS. No corners were cut making these. I love how they look. Just the right height. I love the tilt of the stand. I love the ball joint. I cleaned the inside of one of the bells (pictured). Someone had obviously put in too strong a bulb at some point. It was really easy. I didn’t clean the other but will do so if requested. You’ll never see the inside as most bulbs will block the view. Just a tremendous pair of chrome mid century lamps. You won’t find better. DIMENSIONS – Total Height = Approx. Ball width = approx.
