Vintage LILY OF THE VALLEY AstroLamp Table Lamp 3 Yellow Flowers Set Of 2 Rare
This is a rare matching pair of vintage 1940s Lily of the Valley Lamp, by Astrolamps. This is a Pair of Vintage Lily of the Valley table/dresser lamps. They are 17″ tall on a 5″ round brass base. Three yellow valley flowers are on brass stems with a broad green leaf. They have the original wire and plugs but we are not testing them due to a couple spots that appear to have been hot in the past. They have a push on/off button switch on the base. They require three small night light size bulbs that hold the flowers in place. We recommend that the internal wiring be inspected and replaced before trying to use these lamps. 2 of the flowers are discolored from getting hot along with one of the small green stems going to the flower. Item under consideration is a beautiful pair of matching Vintage. Victorian, Double-Glass Globe, Hurricane Parlor Lamp with. Hand-Painted floral patterns, produced in the USA. Designed in the 19th century in America, this Victorian “Gone with the Wind” lamp is a true masterpiece. It’s beautifully hand-painting with a brown and yellow floral design on a white background with green, yellow, and brown foliage that covers one side of each globe (photo # 1). Matching designs are on both glass globes. Holding the glass globes are 2 decorative metal bases with antique finishes (photo #1, 5, & 6). There is a 3-way lamp socket (top-bottom-both-off) controlling a night light, located in the base (photo #4). Separately for safety reasons. Dimensions: Height- 21 1/2 inch. Vintage, Modernist Lamp Description and Item Information Up for sale is this unusual, vintage table lamp. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This lamp is yellow glazed ceramic or pottery. The light bulb is pointed downward. The lamp stands approximately 17 inches tall, and it is about 8 inches long and 6 inches wide. Unpacked, the lamp weighs 5 pounds 4.7 ounces. Beneath, there is applied felt. There is a metal on/off switch atop the lamp, and the cord is brown plastic. This mod lamp would be a cool addition to a collection of mid-century modern lighting. Identification This vintage lamp has no markings, and I do not know who manufactured it. The exact age is not known. Condition The pottery has no chips or cracks, and the lamp looks very good overall, with light wear. As with all used electrical items, this should be inspected or rewired by a professional before use, even though the visible electrical components look okay cosmetically. Terms of Sale 1. Vintage Mid Century 4-Color Floor To Ceiling Pole Light Red Yellow Green Blue
This has a three way switch to light up the top or bottom pairs or all four globes. The globes are excellent condition, no damage, just a little dusty. The tension rod section is missing the guts, so there is NO tension, the pole is 81 tall with no tension. You could simply stack books under it to get it to the correct height for your application. The gold section looks like an old repaint and there is one acorn nut missing where the wood connects to metal(photo10). I did not try to clean or polish anything, you are getting it exactly as I found it. The light does break down to sections as shown in some of the photos. The light is in working order but as with any old lamp it is always recommended to have it checked out by a qualified electrician before using it. Pair of Vintage Mid Century Table Lamps. These have a silver/chrome base with gold colored stems and yellow/orange bent acrylic shapes on the stem. The Lamps measures approx. The bases are 5 in diameter. Each Lamp Shade is 11″ tall and 8″ in diameter. The shades clip on to the bulb (Bulbs not included). The Gold “finish” on the medal shows some wear and corrosion here and there as well as some light scuffing. There is also holes in the cut into the bottom felt lining to get at the nut as these lamps need to be’tightened’ up from time to time. This has a three way switch to light up one, two, or all three globes. The tension rod has a strong spring, the working height of all sections with tension is 87 to 93. But I suppose the center section could go unused if you need it alot shorter. The shades are excellent condition, just a little dusty inside, the brown metal pole is fine, the gold color arms show some overall plating wear.
