2 Vtg. STIFFEL Neo-Classical Mid-Century Column Torchiere Table Lamps- Nice Cond
Offered here is a pair of large vintage brass and enamel neo-classical column torchiere table lamps. Made by Stiffel of Chicago. These mid-century lamps are in nice condition with no damage and just minor patina on the brass. There are no missing or broken pieces and all parts appear to be original. The lamps are clean ready to use. The grapes and leaves twined around the column are solid brass. The three-way sockets and switches work properly and the electric cords and plugs are fine. Measurements are 38 to the. Milk glass diffuser tops, which are 8 across. 22 1/2″ to the top of the column forms and the bases are 7″ square. The original foil paper labels are gone, but they are marked Stiffel on the glass diffusers. These are top of the line Stiffel lamps with detailed superior styling and they will enhance any room. They are solid and heavy, weighing 13 lbs. Just add shades to complete these lamps. Please view all pictures for details. Extra care and padding will be used in packaging to insure safe travel. Vintage Pair 36 3/4 Tall Rembrandt Torchiere Table Lamps 2 Tone Brass MCM
Use as is as torchieres or put a cloth shade on them that centers up in the notches of the milk glass diffuser shade. When I found them in an estate they had the original cloth shades on them but they were rough so I trashed them. These are 36 3/4″ tall to the top of the glass diffuser shade, 32 1/2″ to where the shade sets on the socket case. Base is 7 1/2 diameter and has the light switch mounted on the outer rim and they both have working 3 way switches and working sockets. The brass is two toned being layers of golden brass and then some deep chocolate brown that resembles aged bronze. Both have partial Rembrandt labels remaining. The diffuser shades are 6 1/8″ outer diameter with 2 3/16″ fitter lips. One of the them has a small shallow chip on the inside of a fitter lip but it is smooth and won’t cut you and does not even come close to showing when mounted on the lamp. Shades are not true milk glass but seem to be clear with an opaque whitish coating-and are original. These are heavy with one weighing 15 1/4 lbs and the other over 15 3/4 lbs. Good looking pair circa 1970′s or so in very good condition with minor spotting and finish wear. The items I sell Might or Might not be from a smoke free home. They measure 39 to the top of the shade. They aren’t exactly the same – the white painted portion of the lamp does not match (see pics). Brass Koi Torchiere Table Lamp Set Metal Gold Vintage Antique Fish Lamp Pair. Vintage, Matching, Brass, Koi Lamps. One lamp is in very fine condition and the other is in good condition. Expect paint chipping on both in varies areas. One shade was replaced with a similar pattern. One base is missing a screw that holds the shade but the other two holds it tight.
