Vintage Pair 36 3/4 Tall Rembrandt Torchiere Table Lamps 2 Tone Brass MCM
Use as is as torchieres or put a cloth shade on them that centers up in the notches of the milk glass diffuser shade. When I found them in an estate they had the original cloth shades on them but they were rough so I trashed them. These are 36 3/4″ tall to the top of the glass diffuser shade, 32 1/2″ to where the shade sets on the socket case. Base is 7 1/2 diameter and has the light switch mounted on the outer rim and they both have working 3 way switches and working sockets. The brass is two toned being layers of golden brass and then some deep chocolate brown that resembles aged bronze. Both have partial Rembrandt labels remaining. The diffuser shades are 6 1/8″ outer diameter with 2 3/16″ fitter lips. One of the them has a small shallow chip on the inside of a fitter lip but it is smooth and won’t cut you and does not even come close to showing when mounted on the lamp. Shades are not true milk glass but seem to be clear with an opaque whitish coating-and are original. These are heavy with one weighing 15 1/4 lbs and the other over 15 3/4 lbs. Good looking pair circa 1970′s or so in very good condition with minor spotting and finish wear. The items I sell Might or Might not be from a smoke free home.
