Vintage Mid-Century Aldan Tiki/Hawaiian/Polynesian Theme Chalkware Table Lamps
For sale is a pair of vintage mid-century chalkware/plaster lamps in Hawaiian/Tiki/Poynesian theme. They have the original fiberglass clip on lampshades. On the back of each base is 1958 Aldan Lamp Prod. The lamps are approximately 28 1/2″ to the top of the shade and 21″ to the top of the socket. The base measures approximately 5 1/2″ by 6 1/2″. The shade is 10″ tall with its oval top 5 1/4″ X 3 3/4″ and oval bottom 10 3/4″ X 6. These are estate found lamps that are in good vintage condition. I have attempted to take photo from all angles so you can see what I consider minor chips and paint loss for chalkware items 60 years old. There is some patch work and touch up done at some point in time. When looking from under the base of the girl it appears to have been broken and repaired. The repair is so well done that it is difficult to see from the top. The original fiberglass shades are in very good shape with some minor discoloration. I have replaced both with new electrical sockets and cords. These are in great working condition. Photos speak to the quality and condition of these lamps. Additional photos are available upon request. My parents were avid collectors and antique dealers for over 40 years. The collection is huge and covers many different categories and has been in storage for over 10 years.
