Vintage Pair of Etched Clear Glass Ornate Table Lamps with Dangling Glass Spear Prisms. Up for your consideration is a Vintage Pair of Etched Clear Glass Ornate Table Lamps with Spear Glass Prisms. This is a great set of unique lamps save for the fact that the shades and harps are NOT included. Both lamps have been tested and DO WORK! Each lamp weighs just under 6 pounds. The base portions have an etched branch and leaf design and the spears have a carved design on their sides. Their is supposed to be ten (10) prisms on each lamp for a total of twenty (20), BUT one lamp is missing the lower, long portion of the prism (see pic) leaving only nineteen (19) prism and 1/4 of one. This seems easily replaceable and would not have to be an exact match as it would be difficult to tell the difference. I have included the max amount of pictures as well as a detailed item description. Please view all pictures and read the item description carefully prior to purchasing. Condition : Overall, the lamp based are in good condition, but there are conditional notes. Almost all of the prisms have some sort of chip in them (mostly at tips), which is a shame, but common in pieces like this where they dangle and come into contact with each other. I have tried to capture damage to prisms but due to photo limits I could not catch all the chips – please expect to find at least one or more chips in the prisms (mostly minor). There is also very minor dings on the glass base portions where the prisms came in contact when swinging, but this was difficult to catch with the camera and thus hard to detect without scrutiny. However, there are no other visible chips in the lamp bases. One of the cords is in good condition without any cuts, nicks or dry rotting. However, the other cord has sustained damaged and is taped. It is best that this be replaced as soon as possible. As stated above, one of the prisms is missing and would need to be replaced. The pieces are dusty and could use a good cleaning. Measurements : 17 1/4 tall by 5 1/4 across the base. Or, if you believe differently, make me a REASONABLE OFFER – I will strongly consider ALL such offers.
