Stunning pair of iconic Rembrandt table lamps! Amazing atomic design and so great to have a pair!! Good vintage condition, with some of the age related wear you often see on Rembrandt lamps of this age. Som chips to the original brown paint on the design and age related discoloration to the metal bases and other metal parts. One of the finials looks as if it has been painted. One plug has been replaced. Measures 9.5″ across at the widest point of the design, is 6″ across the base, 20″ to the top of the socket and 27″ to the top of the finial. Vintage Pair 36 3/4 Tall Rembrandt Torchiere Table Lamps 2 Tone Brass MCM
Use as is as torchieres or put a cloth shade on them that centers up in the notches of the milk glass diffuser shade. When I found them in an estate they had the original cloth shades on them but they were rough so I trashed them. These are 36 3/4″ tall to the top of the glass diffuser shade, 32 1/2″ to where the shade sets on the socket case. Base is 7 1/2 diameter and has the light switch mounted on the outer rim and they both have working 3 way switches and working sockets. The brass is two toned being layers of golden brass and then some deep chocolate brown that resembles aged bronze. Both have partial Rembrandt labels remaining. The diffuser shades are 6 1/8″ outer diameter with 2 3/16″ fitter lips. One of the them has a small shallow chip on the inside of a fitter lip but it is smooth and won’t cut you and does not even come close to showing when mounted on the lamp. Shades are not true milk glass but seem to be clear with an opaque whitish coating-and are original. These are heavy with one weighing 15 1/4 lbs and the other over 15 3/4 lbs. Good looking pair circa 1970′s or so in very good condition with minor spotting and finish wear. The items I sell Might or Might not be from a smoke free home. Cloth shades are shown but NOT included as they are damaged and I have trashed them. The milk glass diffuser shades ARE included. You do not have to take the shades. 28″ to the top of the finial which remove from the shades, 24 3/4″ to the top of the lined cloth shades, 24 1/2″ to the top of the milkglass diffuser shade, 15 1/4″ to the bottom of the cloth shades, 20 to where the milkglass shade sets on the socket. Base is 4 1/2 foot to foot. Switch is 3 way with both working and they have turn key nobs. One is partially missing it’s Rembrandt Masterpieces label. Wiring looks to have been updated in the 80′s or 90′s and looks good. Some minor wear to the dark cream/ivory finish. Stone looks to be green onyx to me but could be marble. Cloth shades were 14″ at the widest, 12″ wide at the curved in part, 9 1/2 tall. Paint wear to the white on the metal braces. Pair Rembrandt retro table lamps with TAGS! Mid century modern atomic vintage
This pair of lamps look like they came out of a time capsule. Very clean, nearly mint with no damage, no repairs, still retain original tags even. For vintage lamps you will simply not find better condition. Huge scale, wonderful retro design and built with Rembrandt’s high standards. Direct from the home of the original owners, do not miss! Please study several pics for the best description, read long condition report and send ANY questions you may have. 44 1/2″ tall to top of finial, shades are about 18″ tall x 14″ diameter, top of wooden spines are 21″ high, wood is 12″ across corner to corner, 7 1/2″ diameter base. All original and very very clean from top to bottom. Finials are great, all shades are free of damage, 3 way switches on both lamps work fine, original cords are good, metal fitting are clean the wooden portion are also clean with a strong finish (few light scuffs at the top edge of a few spines-see 6th photo) and metal bases are clean, free of dings etc. Near mint all the way and ready to use.
