RARE vintage Mallard Duck Lamp withclear glass 3way lighting, lodge cabin cottage
A very Rare find. A taxidermy “Wood duck” (this is the real duck) incased in a clear glass lamp. This lamp has been refurbished and cleaned. It’s in beautiful original condition. It has three way lighting. You can turn on just the bottom or just the top or both at the same time. This is really an eclectic treasure, and I have had it in my living room while I worked on it, and to be honest I would love to keep it. I don’t hunt and I live in the city. There’s just something about it that I really like. This won’t last. 15″W 31″ tall with shade. The shade is a hunter green. Vintage MCM Cork Walnut Wood Table Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting 60s
For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage wood and cork table lamp. Materials: Cork, Wood, Walnut. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch at the socket for functionality. Purchaser to provide their own shade as there currently isn’t one. Suitable for all interior settings. MEASUREMENTS : The lamp measures approx. 33.75″ tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 5.75″ wide x 5.75 deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. Just the cork portion of the base alone measures 11.75″ tall x 5.75″ wide x 5.75 deep. The round wooden base at the very bottom of the lamp measures approx. 4.25 in diameter. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it is in nice shape – no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As is the case with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe.
