The dome shaped lampshade is made of bright brown acrylic outside and white on the inside for a great light reflection. Looks very nice warm orange when lit. T the stem it. Can be moved up and down. On the upper lampshade there is a brass plate with holes for good heat circulation. The lamp has a beautiful solid brass stem with a rounded brass base and a. The lamp stem has a black plastic bracket holding two black metal bulbholders, which take two. E 27 (big European size screw fit) light bulbs. The cord includes a black intermedia switch and has. A continental European 2-pin plug. The lamp is in very good vintage condition. It may show minor traces of use. It is in full working order. Please see images for further impressions. VTG Italian Double Heron Chinoiserie Fine Porcelain Ceramic Table Lamp Italy 28
Vintage Italian Chinoiserie Porcelain Table Lamp. Features a pair of elegant white herons with fantastic detail. This lamp looks great but will need some fixes. There is one end piece of a reed broken off and a smaller piece under the head of one the herons. These are shown in the last images. This originally had a slender neck attached to the top of the porcelain that is no longer there. Also the top assembly & finial will need to be replaced. The lamp itself works great. There is a makers mark that I’m unfamiliar with. If you’re willing to have a few repairs made this will be less than a third of the cost and look just as nice. It’s a matter of a bit of research and repair cost of bringing it bsck to original or customizing it. This piece measures approx 28″ high X 9″ at the widest point.
