Beautiful vintage Chinese Famille Rose-style porcelain lamp with raised enamel decoration and hand-painted figures in bright pastel colors. The lamp has wonderful character-classic scenes of attendants, children, and a mythical beast, all executed in traditional raised enamels. Mounted on a carved wood base with an older Leviton USA brass socket. The scene includes an unusual and charming detail: children riding and guiding a foo dog, a motif rarely seen in mid-century Famille Rose lamps. Height (to top of socket): 17 inches. Width (widest point): 8 inches. Cord: Original brown vintage cord. Base: Carved hardwood. ? Working & Wiring. Brass Leviton USA socket. Rotary knob clicks through multiple positions. Vintage Ginger Jar Table Lamps Famille Rose Chinese Porcelain Pair Floral Cooper
Gorgeous Asian design pair of matching porcelain enamel table lamps. Not positive, but they look like his style. Hand crafted and hand painted in thick enamels of pinks, greens, yellow, light blue and a lavender. The white base features what looks like a large Famille Rose/ Peony along with buds and vines and finished with a circular pattern of lotus flowers that are decorating the top of the lamps. Very fine lines of coral colored rings at each bottom and top of the lamps. It measures 21 1/2″ to the top of the finial and the body is 8 1/4″ at it’s widest point. It has a 7 1/4 round wood base possibly rosewood? With carved scrolled feet. It has RK, F. And 6 1/4 P. On the underside of the base engraved in the wood. I have no clue what these marks refer to. Very pretty matching pair of lamps. Oh yes, the harps are a bit different in shape. However they do have the same color patina.
