DETAILS :: An absolutely stunning Neoclassical brass and fluted crystal table lamp made by Wildwood of Rocky Mount, NC, circa 1960′s. A stepped brass base supports a fluted crystal column topped with an exquisitely detailed cast brass capital and a solid brass neck. These lamps are in excellent vintage condition with very little wear present. There are no dents, chips or cracks in the brass or crystal. Only a few places of the tiniest amount of tarnish. Three levels of lighting are available when using a 3-way bulb (30-70-100 watts). A standard bulb can also be used for one level of light. Please see all photos. Wildwood Lamps are perennially stylish and impeccably crafted with heirloom quality materials. One of the few lamp crafters who go the extra mile using solid brass sockets and turn switches. Large Pair Of Vintage Corinthian Column Hall Table Lamps Antique Gold Finish M&s
Here we have a wonderful pair of Corinthian column table lamps. These were made by Marks & Spencers – unsure of age but would imagine 1990′s to early 2000′s. They have a wonderful, luxurious, grand timeless design that would fit in with most decor styles. Square base Corinthian column design with acanthus leaf decoration to the top. They are made from metal and have an antique gold finish which I really love. Each measures approximately 14.75 inches tall to the bulb holder by 4.75 inches and come with approximately 2m of cable weighing over 1.5kgs each. Pair Vintage Cast Brass Reeded/Fluted Corinthian Column Lamp Bases British Made
They have a beautiful Solid Brass, D. Ecorative, Bell-Shaped Capital with Volutes, Three Rows of Acanthus Leaves and a Tiered Cornice. They are in lovely’aged’ condition (minor age related wear) with a superb dull, golden hue and are in full working order. Work well with a variety of shades. Note: Shades in the images are for reference only and are not supplied within the sale. Height (to top of fitting): 475mm. Base Height: 15mm graduating to 47mm. Column Height (including capital): 315mm. Bulb Type: 100W Maximum (Large Bayonet – Not supplied). Switch Type: Screw Mount Snap Fit. Theme: Cast Brass Corinthian Column. Tested and In full working order. Note: I have given this bases a very gentle polish, but not so much as to take away any of the years of patina (just the surface dirt). One lamp wasn’t working when I received it as it had a defective switch that I’ve replaced that is in keeping with the sister lamp. While removing the base plate, there is a sticker that wasn’t visible with the batch, date and model number (pictured). I hope these find a good home! Priced for quick sale.
