VINTAGE Hollywood Regency HANGING TABLE LAMP Chandelier Swag Light Fixture
This is a beautiful hanging light fixture that can act as an end table. It is very heavy and it is very ornate. Please see enlarged photos for details. It has amber glass and amber crystal prisms (14) and is in great working condition. It is approximately 68 inches in height and is approximately 22 wide That is the widest part of the table. The hanging part that holds the table can adjust. You would just simply remove one of the links. The chain for the fixture is approximately 14 long. It has a pull chain for the off/on switch. This could easily be hardwired for a permanent fixture. It was an estate find and the owner stated that they had had it as long as she could remember. I have no further information on the fixture. Stunning Vtg Gilt French Style CRYSTAL WATERFALL PRISMS Table CHANDELIER LAMP. Stunning Vintage 42 Gold Gilt French Style CRYSTAL WATERFALL PRISMS Table. This impressive French or Hollywood Regency style light is in very nice vintage condition and is quite the centerpiece in any room. The piece measures 42″ tall by 21″ wide and weighs 23 pounds. The lamp features ornate filigree brass work and is loaded with crystal prisms. The piece uses 14 candelabra light bulbs and has a 3 way switch that gives you the option of partial or full lighting. I used mini candelabra bulbs for the pictures as it is. Bright with full size bulbs. The light is in great condition with a few exceptions: a couple of the cages around the 4 outer arms are slightly askew, and one of the arms has had a break and repair (but is quite strong). There is also some patina or age to the tiny metal connectors between the prisms. I’ve cleaned the piece, though the crystals would benefit from being removed and thoroughly cleaned. In spite of any flaws, the light really does display beautifully. It is very large and bottom-heavy. Disassembly may be possible, though difficult as the wiring goes almost to the top. I live about 40 minutes from Chicago (and also travel to Purdue University Lafayette monthly) and would be willing to meet within a reasonable distance.
