Vintage Italian Alabaster Table Lamp Hand Carved Urn Made in Italy Mid-Century

A stunning example of mid-century Italian craftsmanship. This solid alabaster lamp features a classic urn shape with intricate hand-carved leaf detailing. Because it is carved from natural stone, it features unique marble-like veining and a beautiful translucency when placed near light. Details: Authenticity: Hand-etched “Made in Italy” on the bottom of the base. Construction: Very heavy, solid stone construction. As a vintage natural stone piece, there are some minor “flea bite” chips on the sharp edges of the carvings and slight discoloration/patina on the cord and socket consistent with age (see photos). These do not detract from its structural integrity or overall beauty. Note: Lamp shade and bulb not included.
