Vintage 1930′s 40′s or 50′s MCM Bauhaus Style Mushroom Table or Desk Lamp
Just out of a local smoke free house is this vintage MCM Bauhaus style mushroom table or desk lamp. The lamp is unmarked except for an old UL label on the bottom. The label is marked number 97,449 and E-20773. The style is similar to lamps by several Bauhaus designers. It has a black steel base, column, and shade with chrome accents. It has a plastic diffuser under the shade. It measures about 17 inches tall, about 14 inches across the shade, and about 6 inches across the base. The lamp is in good preowned condition with some discoloration and warping to the diffuser, some scratches, light scuffs, some minimal paint loss under the finial, and some chrome loss to the top of the finial. The wiring and electrics are all original and the electrics work well. Just add your bulbs. See photos as they are part of the description.
