Charming solid brass vintage candlestick French bouillotte table lamp in the form of a beautifully detailed pineapple. Good original vintage condition, there is patina and some discoloration spots to the brass, please see photos for reference. In great working order. Has two pull-chain on/off switches. Super Cool Vintage 50s Ceramic Lamp Fiberglass Shade Mid Century Modern Atomic
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a super cool vintage atomic era ceramic table lamp complete with its original trapezoidal-shaped fiberglass lamp shade. Circa’50s /’60s. The ceramic base is brown in color with scattered white accents (see photos). The base also has a striated texture throughout. The fiberglass shade is beige in color, as is typical from lamps of this era, and it has black, gold and white randoms painted arcs on it throughout. The finial for the lamp is an amber colored glass ball, and we are assuming that it is original to the lamp as well. We are uncertain as to the maker – there are no marks, labels, or tags present. This lamp will make a great addition to any mid century modern or atomic-themed home! With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. The ceramic alone measures approx. 14.5″ tall x 12″ wide x 5.75 deep. The shade alone measures approx. 7″ tall x 13″ wide x 8 deep. Condition: The lamp is in very good condition for its age. The ceramic base is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The fiberglass shade is free from rips, holes, tears, repairs, burn marks, etc. All of the lacing is intact. The shade shows light traces of wear that are consistent with age and use. The bottom edge of the fiberglass material shows very mild discoloration – our guess is it should come out with a gentle washing. We have not attempted to try to clean it any way as it is minor and doesn’t particularly interfere with any thing. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and is in good shape – there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires, etc. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring checked by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. Vintage Tole Lamp Shade with Three Candle Table Lamp
This tole lamp shade, three candlestick light sat on the nightstand of a woman in eastern Iowa for many, many years. Overall the lamp is in very good used condition, as I doubt it left the nightstand except to dust under. The tole shade has the original metal screen, but may need a good cleaning and light coat of pint (just on the screen) It also has the gold trim paint worn off on the right side, from repetitively reaching over to turn the light off before going to sleep. I believe it was also a 3 step-switch light turning, one, two, and three bulbs but currently only turns on all three lights on and off. That is a matter of replacing the switch.
