Features two metal articulating arms, cast iron joints with steel gear handles, a steel gear base, a steel dome lamp shade and nickel plated socket. The gears are all vintage parts from older vehicles. Wiring is brand new reproduction black twisted cloth cord with a new antique style plug. Everything works perfectly and safely. A gearhead’s dream shop light. I built this lamp to compact dimensions to allow it to fit in many places. The three separate joints enable the lamp to be positioned in a wide variety of ways. The gear handles at all three joints make re-positioning easy. The gear handles can easily be switched to the opposite side. There is a nickel plated ball joint at the shade that allows the shade to rotate from side to side. The lamp socket takes regular sized bulbs and looks great with a reproduction type bulb. The reproduction bulb is not included but I can advise on where they are available. This lamp simply looks stunning. A perfect gift for the desk, office, garage or workshop. This vintage task lamp by Fostoria has been fully restored and finished to have a clean industrial look. The lamp is fixed to an industrial bearing housing and allows the lamp to smoothly swivel 360°. That, in addition to the 3 points of articulation that bend and also swivel, will allow the lamp to be pointed in any which way you like. This was a custom build and finish so you won’t be finding another one like it! Yes, it swivels nicely, but it would need to be fastened down to a table if you want to extend the arm too far away from the position it is photographed in. 4.75 base diameter. 48 total arm length. 6 feet twisted black cord with plug. This vintage style desk lamp takes its cues from the gritty charm and tough-as-nails elegance that characterized early-20th-century industrial lighting design. Features steel articulating arms, cast iron joints, a hefty vintage style base, and reproduction twisted cloth cord. Shown with brass cone lamp shade and vintage style socket in oil-rubbed bronze finish. A classic look with new parts; everything works perfectly and safely. Three separate joints enable the lamp to be positioned in a wide variety of ways. Antique valve handles have been added to the two lowest joints to make re-positioning easier. Valve handles have been cleaned and clear-coated to preserve the rustic finish. Please note that since these valve handles are antique, each with their own unique character, your handles may look slightly different–still cool, but different. The cone shade is raw brass and we leave it alone, so it will continue to age naturally and develop to the perfect patina. Ocket takes regular size bulbs, and looks great with an Edison bulb. Fixture components are hand-aged in our shop to give each lamp unique vintage character. Antique style lamp socket comes in oiled bronze finish and flat paddle switch.
