Antique Pairpoint Bouillotte Lamp Bird of Paradise Reverse Painted Glass Shade
Antique Pairpoint bouillotte table lamp. With original hand reverse painted glass shade. Base number is #D8090. Unsure of what kind of metal it is but it is not magnetic. It does work, however one of the pull chains does not go back up on its own once pulled, you have to take the candle sleeve off and pop the mechanism back up with your finger. We are listing the lamp and shade together but we are also listing them separately, however it sells first is how they will sell. Lamp is 26 1/2″ tall to top of finial, lamp is 8″ wide and 7 depth. Base is 5 1/2″ by 5 1/2″. Weighs 5 lbs 13 oz. Shade is 6 7/8″ tall and has a 15 7/8″ diameter. Weighs 4 lbs 12 oz. Shade was broken and then repaired. Has chips and missing pieces. ANTIQUE PAIRPOINT HANDEL ERA ARTS & CRAFTS BRONZE KING OF BEASTS LAMP c. 1910
Bronze jeweled Pairpoint table lamp, circa 1910s. The lamp base has a great form and design and retains its original bronze patina. Lions and Elephants adorn the base measuring 6″ in diameter and shade measuring 22″ to the top of the finial. The intrically designed embossed bronze & glass shade measure 7″ high x 14″ wide. Jewels in all, which are set with jeweler’s prongs. The lamp has been rewired with a period brown cloth cord and overall it is in excellent working condition with no damage or repairs.
