Beautiful vintage handmade and hand painted camel skin lamp from Pakistan. I believe this lamp was made in the 1960′s, but that is just my unprofessional opinion and based on my research only. I also believe this lamp was made by artisans in Multan, Pakistan who are famous for making these types of camel skin lamps using a Naqashi painting technique. Again, this is just my opinion based on my own research. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you are familiar with this type of lighting/technique. The lamp is fully functional and includes 3 different light settings. You can illuminate the base only, the shade only, or both! It’s such a gorgeous lamp and will add a rich touch to any interior.
