Vintage Mid Century Pair Knotted Drape Plaster Table Lamps John Dickinson Era – EXCEPTIONAL! These white plaster table lamps were designed to look like knotted drapes. These Lamps are in the style of John Dickinson. The lamps are unsigned. John Dickinson did not sign all of his work. Approximate Measurements: 33 tall with the harps (shade hardware). One lamp is slightly shorter than the other. Weight of each lamp is approximately 12 pounds. Condition: These lamps have the hardware as found, the hardware may be original to the lamps, though one socket looks a little different, and all hardware is old. The lamps have been repainted white, to the original color. The paint has a touch of gloss as would the original color. There are no chips in the plaster. The lamps look fresh. These lamps are gorgeous and flowing like draping cloth, but the contrast of the substance, hard plaster, makes the design so much more interesting.. I have a couple of burlap shades on the lamps for display. Search Jean Michel Frank, designers, Francis Elkins, mid century, modern lamp.
