Vintage Le Klint 311 Glass Lamp Holmegaard Esben Klint Mid Century Danish Design
Vintage Holmegaard for Le Klint 311 table lamp. This beautiful and rare lamp is in excellent condition. The vivid blue glass base has wonderful vibrancy and depth and really creates a visual feature within a room. The 311 table lamp was designed by Esben Klint in 1949 and this bright sky blue version is a particularly beautiful colour. The quality glass bases were manufactured for Le Klint by the renown Danish Glassworks Holmegaard Kastrup. Each piece is hand made from blown glass. The original Danish lamp holder fitting with original Le Klint stickers is still in place. The shade that comes with the light is a vintage Danish pleated shade that is very similar to an original Le Klint shade being made out of thin white polypropylene plastic that is covered in a fine weave fabric that is a crisp white. I do not think it is an authentic original Le Klint shade but matches the traditional style of these Danish pleated shades. It clips onto the light bulb. Complete with shade it stands 47cm tall and the shade is approximately 33cm in diameter at the widest point. The lamp has been refitted with an Australian Plug, tested and tagged by an electrician. For International sales please note the power cord will be cut off short requiring the lamp to be rewired in your country due to safety regulations.
