Antique Turkish Moroccan Pierced Brass Beaded Table Lamp Crescent Moon Shade
This Antique Turkish Moroccan Pierced Brass Beaded Table Lamp features a stunning crescent moon shade, adding a touch of elegance to any room. The lamp is crafted from brass with a gold finish, giving it a vintage and Moroccan style. It operates with a corded electric power source and has a knob control for easy adjustment. The clear light color adds a warm and inviting ambiance, making it a perfect accent piece for any space. Lamp is about 21 inches tall with a clip-on shade. Prior to the acquisition by current owners who are downsizing, a dimmer switch was added to control brightness. The lining of the shade has been replaced, and two rows of beads have been affixed by glue, the long row is 6 inches long and the second, 3 inches long. The base is not pierced but has raised and etched decoration as shown in the photos. The cord and plug have been updated, the 12-foot cord is fabric covered.

Here is a stunning Victorian style, crescent moon-shaped lamp shade on an antique, Art Nouveau lamp base. I made this lamp shade by hand. It was made with emerald green satin fabric and fine netting with embroidery and beads. It has purple fringe as well as green and pale pink triangular/crescent moon-shaped beaded fringe and long strands of beads at either end. It has lilac and gold trim, as well as antique gold metal trim with thin ribbons weaved through. Pain staking detail and many hours of work have gone into creating this one of a kind lamp shade. It is hand sewn; each layer of fabric/lace is individually sewn on, as well as each layer of fringe. The shade measures just over 10 wide. It’s the perfect size for a table or boudoir lamp.
