ANTQ Chinese Electric Table Lamp Converted From Vase- Porcelain 19th Century 15. Very unique lamp with “crackle” finish looks to be intentional not necessarily patina. Colorful and detailed floral design with partridge looking birds. It is believed that this lamp dates back to late 1800s/early 1900s, and was once a beautiful flower vase in early times, now a lamp with an electric cord. The lamp is currently NOT WORKING- but appears to be an issue within the bulb housing not necessarily in the wiring. Will need to be looked at and fixed to be operational. The lamp body sits atop a heavier metal, and decorative, base with a neat pattern. Overall, the lamp looks to be in really condition- especially given the possible age- with a couple of noticed knick- marks in the body of the porcelain lamp.
